@zozozoe do the Blurt boxes come in plain packaging or is it obvious what they are? (I am thinking about sending one to a colleague who has been confiding in me a lot and don't want to ask for her home address and spoil things, but don't want anything to come to work that might signal she's struggling in any way).

@OneMomentInHistory I subscribed to Leaf Envy after reading your post here. If you still haven’t signed up, here’s a discount code they’ve sent me today. Thank you for the recommendation! 🌿

I subscribe to Smol every month for my washing and dishwater tablets. I have been using them for 2 years now and would strongly recommend, we only get the non-bio as have young children but it gets rid of all stains, smells lovely and all packaging completely recycled. Very compact too so doesn't take up much space. You can get 50% off a trial box here smol.refr.cc/carlyp

Another vote for Craft Gin Club, we get it four times a year and it's good value but still feels like a treat.
DH gets Spicebox which is basically a box with a recipe and spices to make a full curry spread. We both love curry, he rarely cooks, so this is a way to get him in the kitchen really. There's always lots of sides and unusual bits, you just have to buy the fresh ingredients. We've found them very flexible, so if a few boxes have built up you can pause them for a bit.
We also get a monthly box of pork from a local farm.
I've tried Gusto and while I like the concept, I just couldn't get over the packaging. Tiny plastic bags of spices or pots of sauce, it made me feel a bit ill.
I got a pasta evangelist box as a lockdown treat and thought it was meh. Wouldn't bother again. And we did Beer52 for a while because we got a deal, but DH found the craft beers too up themselves. He's a simpler chap.

I'm looking up loads of these. Had no idea you could get subscription boxes of e.g. Japanese snacks! That's definitely on my list, maybe for D1 when she goes off to university.
I've given The Spicery as a gift which was apparently fantastic.
Craft gin seems to get a lot of votes
I would like to try a Blurt Buddy box has anyone tried one?
Self-care box for people with depression, but looks helpful in general for stress www.blurtitout.org/buddybox/
Orangeblossom, this looks fabulous. Did you sign up in the end?

I like Latest in Beauty boxes as you can see what's in them, or choose the contents, depending on the box.
I used to have Graze boxes but decided they were too expensive.
I've also used Pact coffee but it always seemed quite weak and I had to use loads of it to get any flavour.

Look fantastic for me, although I've recently stopped it as I now have quite a backlog of stuff to use! Will probably get their advent calendar though.
Kiwi crate for DD, really good educational, making stuff sort of box. They have a number of boxes for different ages as well which is good, and you can switch your subscription between them at any time.
I dont get the subscription but I do have The Spicery 'Curry Legend' cookbook and spice mixes, and they're amazing. I love making a proper curry spread with 4 or 5 different dishes for me and DH every couple of weeks or so.
Going to be checking out some of the suggestions here later, love a subscription box!

I get a treat box from TheVeganKind supermarket every month with loads of food and snacks and usually one non food treat included. I also get a monthly box of freeze dried fruit from The Rotten Fruit Box. I'm particularly addicted to their freeze dried peaches and figs.

I also get Craft Gin Club. It’s good value unlike many other subscription boxes I’ve tried. I subscribe to Butternut dog food too and my dog loves it.
Things I’ve tried and didn’t like:
Beerbods - the beer was fine but I was disappointed that they sent the whole lot at once to save on postage, instead of spacing them out. It’s not a subscription if they send them all at once!
Cake Slice Club - each delivery was an individually wrapped slice no bigger than what you’d get at Starbucks. I was shocked to discover that my sister had paid nearly a tenner per cake slice! What a rip off.
