It’s a shame every fucker wants to hijack it for themselves. Seriously. I get that supermarket workers are being really flexible and working hard. I get that some people are being paid to stay home while key workers aren’t.

Are you fucking kidding? Would you want to work in a supermarket right now? No PPE, dealing with people who just wont do what they are supposed to do? In a minimum wage job where at best you signed up because you thought it would be an ok way to keep the wolf from the door? And now you are right on the frontline dealing with a pissed off public who carry a highly contagious virus? You bet your arse I’d clap for them before anyone else.

But have you seen what the NHS is doing? We should be proud to clap them. Such a shame about the ‘me too’ bit.

How can we not see? It’s all over every bit of social media with them telling everyone how amazing they are.

Don’t you get it? The other frontline workers keeping the country going are every bit as important as those in the NHS. Only a fool can’t see that. It’s not about “me too” is about remembering there are people other than nurses and doctors doing really important work at the moment. I guarantee death rates in this country resulting from this pandemic would be far higher if the supermarket workers decided to give up and go home.

Can you imagine how would world look if all this clapping and coming out with bs energy was used to actually do something😱
Like instead of spending 4 minutes dancing to Sclub 7, people could do "write an email to your mp about nhs funding". Takes about same time. Less if there is a template.
