And would you do anything if you could completely get away with it?! Mine is my daughter’s swimming teacher, he has the sexiest smile and is so good with the kids. Totally gives me the flutters but I’m guessing he’s not into overweight bespectacled women in their forties! Grin

Or Worse, Gordon Ramsay!

SuckingDieselFella · 25/03/2020 20:44

No need to worry, I'll never go there.

Emilia Fox did though. Shock

SuckingDieselFella · 25/03/2020 20:46

Jean Christophe Novelli, Giorgio Locatelli

It's the accent

#internationalTom

MusicianTom · 26/03/2020 08:28

MusicianTom sent a voice message to our work group chat. I may have listened to it a thousand few times #ScottishTom

Soapytoad · 26/03/2020 08:45

I now have a 100% legitimate reason to have an image of Tom in my phone forever now. I don’t keep opening the app and looking at it though. No. Not me. I would not do that! It’s not even a good photo. But it’s Tom and it’s in my phone and it’s all legal and clean and non stalker!

SuckingDieselFella · 26/03/2020 17:18

My Tom has recorded his post lockdown lectures but the system tells everyone who watches it and how many times.

If I watch them a thousand times he will KNOW.

So will everybody else.

I'll have to save them up for a treat. Grin

MusicianTom · 26/03/2020 17:58

Vlc media can screen record YouTube videos, maybe it can screen record your online lectures too?

SuckingDieselFella · 26/03/2020 19:16

Hmm, might be a bit stalker-ish.

If he recorded it to watch any of us I would be Shock

wizzywig · 26/03/2020 23:08

My Cop Tom has given me his personal mobile no. But i know its to call for work reasons. But i can dream...

SuckingDieselFella · 26/03/2020 23:41

Tell him that he can lock you down any time.

See what happens.

BuggersMuddle · 27/03/2020 00:12

Oh yes, although it probably won't survive lockdown (and it almost certainly shouldn't).

Super tall, slim, fit and pretty geeky - very much my type. Sadly also slightly intimidating. Thus I suspect I turn into the Michelle from American Pie in his presence sadly & so he probably either thinks I'm a 'management type' with whom he'd have little in common or just a nerd with no social skills. It's maybe just as well...

Frustrating though because I'm otherwise okay socially, so I hate feeling like an awkward teenager!

Allaboardthemagicbus2020 · 27/03/2020 02:00

@BuggersMuddle

Turn it back on him, Buggers. He is intimidating and making others feel less intelligent for his benefit.

SuckingDieselFella · 27/03/2020 11:54

Is he doing it deliberately though?

Some people can't help it purely because they're so brainy.

My Tom says if we are worried about "the current circumstances" we can chat to him at any time about anything.

Is this the time to bring up the topic of new jumpers?

Allaboardthemagicbus2020 · 27/03/2020 12:42

Haha! How would you argue that in to the conversation?

Hi Sucking, how are you?

Hi Tom, yeah all good. And you?

I’m fine. Lots to do at home.

Yeah, I’m the same. I’ve found some clothes to mend and darn. It’s actually really therapeutic. You ever tried?

Computer crashes and link is disconnected.

SuckingDieselFella · 27/03/2020 15:21

Almost, @Allaboardthemagicbus2020

"I've found some clothes to burn that I should never have bought in the first place and wore for far too long. I'm ashamed of myself, actually. The bonfire was cathartic. You ever tried?"

The good thing about online meetings is that it doesn't show the full extent of people's tragic clothing choices. In his case this is a REALLY good thing.

Allaboardthemagicbus2020 · 27/03/2020 16:51

Ha. I can see you have put some thought into this...

SuckingDieselFella · 28/03/2020 10:56

The clothes could be a dealbreaker.

He needs to adopt a scorched wardrobe approach and do it SOON.

Allaboardthemagicbus2020 · 28/03/2020 19:11

Perhaps the government should implement a policy of burning all clothes that have been worn in the vicinity of masses of young people like universities. You know, just in case. You could suggest it to him.
'Does his university have an opinion on the idea been mooted around Westminster at the moment?' Interesting theory about fomites (I learned that word today and it might impress him as much as it did me) and their relationship to textiles.

SuckingDieselFella · 28/03/2020 22:44

He would see through that.

And when the penny dropped it might make him cry. Sad

MotorwayDiva · 30/03/2020 16:15

Old thread, but anyone else missing their crush due to lock down?

I'll go back to a different job, I never got chance to tell him I was leaving.... All I can think was he had lovely hair and how is it going to look after three weeks and no hairdresser/barber

SuckingDieselFella · 30/03/2020 19:17

How is this an old thread?

The Toms are at the forefront of my mind. Smile

What do you think they're doing in lockdown? Inventing stuff, composing songs, wearing terrible clothes, eating their body weight I Maryland cookies?

SuckingDieselFella · 30/03/2020 19:57

in Maryland cookies

I will never make it as a geek Tom's girlfriend.

MotorwayDiva · 30/03/2020 20:49

It seemed like I read it months ago, realised was only last week....
