To ask what the secret is behind the Maltesers box?

Just that really: what is the box design all about? Why is there the circular hole? What are the perforated quarter circles for? Is it all some advanced alien technology or am I just too dense to understand a basic cardboard box?

Look what I've found on my Palm Springs forced vacation?!
I made my own Maltesers collection box and also included ÀFTER EIGHT mints. The teasers seem to be like the bunnies. Yay!

I have a lovely colleague who takes one biscuit a day from her packet to have with her morning tea. Just the one. Never two. For me it's like watching somebody who can speak five languages, they are like a different species.

She was very restrained over Christmas, had the occasional solitary chocolate from the communal box. I can't even put into words how much I wish I had that trait. I'd possibly trade a small bodily organ for it.

She's probably a robot. I bet if you chucked a magnet at her it would stick.

I think you must be exaggerating if you've had time to keep up with this post. Obviously I haven't been able to keep in touch with you plebs whilst supporting Kim with her divorce, helping Gareth pick the team and watching previews of the upcoming blockbusters as they're being edited for final release. I occasionally get chance to read through your comments from my private jet but it just doesn't seem relatable anymore.

Sorry have not read the whole thread but does anyone remember a book that was around (but possibly in my school library so could be older) where a box of Malteasers was the key to opening a vault with a mahoosive diamond 💎 hidden in it. Seeing the thread title triggered the memory. It became a bit of a thing to give friends a box (never a packet) as a joke among us...

Late 90s is when I read it. Need to proofread!!!

I dont recall that book and now feel that part of my childhood is missing.
I do remember been told I could join the Penguin book club and was very disappointed that there were no penguins there

Ended up googling and the plot of an Anthony Horowitz novel the Falcon's Malteser looks like my memory. I'm annoyed at how much it costs on Kindle so haven't bought it!

Basically a box of Maltesers was being hunted by all the criminal gangs of London!
