To ask what the secret is behind the Maltesers box?

Just that really: what is the box design all about? Why is there the circular hole? What are the perforated quarter circles for? Is it all some advanced alien technology or am I just too dense to understand a basic cardboard box?

The design stops them falling out when you chuck the box across the room to your husband (and vice versa) because you're to lazy to get up and pass them properly!

The holes on the corner make it easier to access perferation and the hole in the middle makes it easier to lift up perferated section. Now wanting malteasers

I buy the big boxes. actually DH buys them for me, he's a keeper

I don't like sharing either but even I have to admit that eating one of those to myself is a step to far so I allow my lovely husband a small handful before I make him chuck them back at me!

oh I saw in news this week the factory that makes the maltesers crunchy middles had a fire. hope theres not a shortage!

The circular hole must be so that you can tip just one out at a time, though I don't know why you'd want to do that...

Oh dear I must be the only one who thinks they taste horrible out the box lately! They literally just taste like the actual cardboard box now! They never used to though!
