My 12 year old still loves Lego especially Star Wars and Ninjago etc. He had a large Star Wars ship for Xmas & still plays with it, reads Lego books etc.

My mother things he’s too old for it (although she hasn’t specified what she thinks he should be doing at 12)

I always thought Lego was for any age to be honest and would rather he played with Lego than spend hours on a screen....

Aibu? What should 12 year olds be doing?!

Although as the age range is often given as up to 99 what happens on your 100th birthday? Do you have to box it all us and go "well that's that then"?
May have to contact Lego to discover if they have a 100th birthday procedure...

When the postman turns up with your telegram from the Queen, they're accompanied by an employee of LEGO who goes through your home and gathers all the bricks to be returned to the company.

Grin

(hopefully at 100 I will be able to fight them off by throwing Lego at them. Might use Duplo. It's bigger and hurts more when it hits heads)

Take your mum and son to Brick. They’ll both love it!
