This is what I find truly obscene and what I cannot understand H&M's defenders don't see. But racism....
Did they not see the crowds cheering them during their fairy tale wedding? The massive security budget for that wedding?

From what I've read here it's occured to loads of people.
It is Mumsnet after all and a mental health diagnosis must be suggested every time someone's actions are questioned.

If she was over 50, someone would ask if she had dementia.

It's now being reported that Charles has also been giving them loads out of his private finances too to try to make them happy, in addition to the money that's been reported from the Duchy. If true I bet he feels like he's been stabbed in the back.

And I would have thought her being confidant enough to make speeches would have been a great plus-that & not being intimidated by cameras at "engagements".

Re the timing of their announcement, I saw a post speculating MM may be pregnant. After the press coverage of her last pregnancy perhaps they’d be keen to relocate and hide away during this one. Whilst monetising it at every opportunity of course.

Giving the benefit of the doubt for a moment, it looks in that video as though the chap on Harry's left is introducing her and she excused herself to cross in front of him, and then start talking to them. The caption is misleading I think.

It doesn’t surprise me that PC has been funding them. They both like a lavish lifestyle. I agree with a pp, a couple having a hissy fit and diverting time away from the crisis of Brexit in the country. We are imploding.

Sod all of this. What I’d like to see is the Queen holding the country to ransom and stopping it from happening. Maybe box BJ’s ears while we are at it.

@fraggott that is a difficult watch. It reminds me of my first husband who always had to hold the room, have the attention, he also broke my ribs and occipital lobe because I wasn't giving him enough "attention"

That brown outfit MM wore though was really really hideous. No one would look good in that. Sorry blush

It was pretty dire but the photographs of the sweat patches were really cruel. When I saw the photo of her the next day, with a navy coat over her shoulders I felt sorry for her, as I would for anyone similarly humiliated in such a way.

Then their plans were posted. I really hate what they / he/ she have stooped to but I still think those wretched photographs, so gleefully posted and commented on, might have felt like a last straw. 🙁
