And Diana was only 19 when they married.

They went on a 6 week break, she took her dogs. They, supposedly, came home but they left their child in Canada. Now she’s gone back, I don’t think she’s intending to return.

I think hat if H&M try and blackmail the RF with a tell all, I think the RF will not allow that and will call their bluff tbh. It wouldn’t be the first time they’ve been at the receiving end of such interviews, they are well prepared and geared up to deal with negative PR and press and I think they will (rightly) come to the conclusion that yes, H&M might say some bad stuff, but it will equally reflect very very badly on H&M and simply make it easier for Charles to put away his chequebook.

I agree @Rinoachicken that calling their bluff may be the tactic of choice. They can't project a serene confidence Obamas-like facade, suitable for their aspirations, if they've actively sold grubby details to the tabloids themselves.

As others have said, Harry has been much loved, adored, supported by his family in whatever he has wanted to do in his life, they have bent over backwards to enable him to do what was important to him, like seeing active service. I just don’t understand how he could turn around and treat them like that.

When they first got married, the RF were visibly welcoming to Meghan, she had 1:1 time with the queen on engagements etc. I just don’t understand where this deep hatred to his own family has come from

I wonder if Kate will be at the meeting too? If it's a plan to be implemented for her kids too then she has every right to be there.

Meghan will have her team sitting beside her in Canada I'm sure.

There's some pretty unsavoury rumours about her too so she may not be in a place to throw stones at William's alleged affair.

I don’t think you can buy real friends. Mates who you were at school within an know you well, people you worked with, family friends you grew up with. Sure you can but some sycophantic hangers on who will play at being your friend. But real mates ? People who genuinely care about you and will have your back? Not so easy even with shed loads of money ...

I think with all the Brexit shite going on right now the last thing British (Royalists) want is a shake up of their Royal Family, we want the reassurance of their presence.

I wish MM had never married him. It’s not rascism, she wanted to “modernise” something which in recent years has actually modernised itself and she needs to fucknoff and leave it alone quite frankly.

Having said that MM has a get out, another country she can go back to if it’s too much. Plus Harry, understandably, would want her to avoid the worst of the media.

I don't think she "deeply hates" his family. I just think she wants the limelight and she wants it on her terms. She looked into the future - William's King, Kate's queen she's having to curtesy to both of them, getting the B list tours, dependent on William for money. She's decided to jump now.

I tell my dc that not getting along with family and isolating you from yours are key signs of narcissistic behavior. Or at the very least their aunt by marriage.

It is heartwrenching to lose family when you have done EVERYTHING that was asked. The last straw was when DM died and they used personal and private information to attack me. After crying my heart out, dh and I blocked them from everything.

I still look at them on sm but less and less. Every time I think of reaching out, I remember my hurt and humiliation. I NEVER want my dc to see me that vulnerable, not will I ever be in that position again.

To me, Harry's family needs to understand his wife and perhaps leave the door open but protect themselves at all costs. She has big guns behind her who would delight in hurting or puncturing the RF.

I do not think that she is kind or compassionate. If Every one has the same story, you should pay attention to the noise. I hope and pray and tell my dc to look for spouses who value family. We are stronger and more safe with people who love you unconditionally

Having watched their engagement interview in full for the first time; it debunks much of what is being complained of now. His family were supportive, welcoming etc according to the interview; she was aware of what she was taking on; they were going to travel in the Commonwealth, do the right engagements; yet barely two years later it's all the opposite?

As for the link about the DM articles; no-one is linking MM to murder - just the production of avocados. My elderly Mum buys them, doesn't link her to the cartels, (unless you count Morrisons and Lidls as a cartel). Same with the bit about the Hub kitchen - it's the centre that was linked to extremism, not the women in kitchen, or MM. Most people can see the difference.
