Really sorry if I'm saying what's been said a hundred times.
I think Harry (without knowing him at all) has become a dad and it's hit him what life has been like for himself. I can't compare myself but when I became a mum I went through some realisations of my own about my family. It took becoming a mum to see it.
I think his life (although privileged in many ways) is sad. He was born into a situation without a choice. He was trained and expected to perform for his family from being a child. His dad cheated on his mum. His mum was sleeping about abit (probably desperate for comfort and love) then she died. I don't see Charles being a very warm loving dad? I also can imagine it's very hard for them to let Camilla into their lives, let alone their childrens. Maybe they do like her, but their mum sure as hell didn't. Yet she's getting to love Diana's grandchildren.
I also think Harry isn't going to be king anyway so... I do kind of understand him wanting to give his child a chance of a different life. He knows what it's like to not be like the other kids at school etc. Having to turn up and perform to the crowds when expected can't be fun. His whole life belongs to the public and he can't escape.
I don't know much about Meghan. She isn't the usual type that enters the royal family. She is an actress, an American and divorced. I can imagine for her it's far too dull. Without knowing anything about her, I imagine she feels lost. I bet she misses her family and friends so much. She also can't have the life she had before. She would of been able to go shopping, dressed in jeans and doing whatever she wanted before. I'm not sure if she thought it was better than it turned out or if this was always her plan.
It does look bad though. She joined the royal family. She made a commitment. Now she wants to be back in America. I'm sure Harry will be ok. But I can imagine it will feel lonely. Nobody will understand out there what it's like for him.
That said I have sisters. We dont see alot of eachother. It does seem like the end of an era for the British. But it doesn't particularly affect my life. They certainly shouldn't be taking another penny now.
