I have some last min Xmas wrapping to do which I dread 😩
Pick up veg from Tesco ready for the big day and the turkey/sausage meat from the butchers.
Drop off some presents to extended family whom are not with us this Christmas.
& then to lounge about with my 10month old DD and see how many times we can watch frozen on repeat before DH pulls the last remaining hairs he has left from his head 😁

I've got a list but currently in bed with aches, chills and feeling shit.

If I don't feel better in the morning, DH & DD will go and do the food shop. DH and I had planned to get up v early and go.

I still got some vouchers to get and haven't wrapped anything yet - not much to do so not panicking.

I had planned on having a lovely weekend so hoping I don't have something that's going to last.

Tomorrow I have tesco bringing drink and nibble bits and Monday is ASDA with Christmas dinner food.
I'm basically hibernating from now till Tuesday when I will be taking kids out for day to see Santa etc and then a meal in evening with friends at a pub and home for 8pm with all kids (dsd coming for crimbo!)

Cleaning. It's only family so doesn't need to be show home but this house is a pigsty.

Grabbing some potatoes and fresh salad from Aldi and replacing the cheese selection as the one I bought has sat in the bad with the ambient food for a week!

Then starwars. Of course.

We're off to London until Monday with the dc. We're seeing Wicked, the Christmas lights and St Paul's Cathedral (at dc's request).
I've wrapped presents and online shopping being delivered on Christmas Eve. We're all looking forward to our pre Christmas weekend.

Working tonight, tomorrow morning and all day Sunday.

I've bought all the presents but the only wrapped ones are the posted ones. I have to buy presents for my children from their grandparents too, and wrap them, they just pay me back... I never wrap in advance though, always the night before.

I've got a duck in the freezer but will buy the rest of the food on Monday. I wish I didn't have to cater for FIL who has ignored us all year but been dumped by his much younger girlfriend when she realised he was exaggerating his financial means and was actually unlikely to buy her a flat, and suddenly he wants to spend Christmas with us despite forgetting all about his children's and grandchildren's birthdays...

Tomorrow morning I'll clean the oven, give the place a clean, and run the hoover and mop around. Other than that just lots of resting, if I don't I will not manage all the Christmas stuff without crashing.

I might fit in a few Christmas films, some mince pies and the occasional glass of wine. Oh and I have a few rows of a blanket to knit and finish off.
