Johnson sent his Dad and Gove to the channel4 leaders' debate on climate change instead of going himself. Channel 4 empty chaired him with an ice sculpture.

Is he worried he would show how incompetent he is? God help us trying to influence other nations if he is elected with an outright majority.

I thought Michael Gove and Stanley Johnson both had experience and knowledge of environmental issues. Maybe ask BJ why he didnt go himself.

It was a leaders debate. Gove's tried twice and failed to become leader of the Tory party, I really don't know why he showed up. With Johnson's DAD.

It was a debate for party leaders. That's why all the other parties (bar Farage's) had the leader there, not the (shadow) environment ministers.

I do hope C4 saved that ice sculpture so Andrew Neil can interview it, though.

C4 invited Stanley who has written many books about the environment. Michael Gove is environmental minister. Maybe BJ couldnt go. Maybe he didnt want to go. Is it against the law not to do what the media want them to do.
