To think its ridiculous that Johnson sent his Dad ...

Johnson sent his Dad and Gove to the channel4 leaders' debate on climate change instead of going himself. Channel 4 empty chaired him with an ice sculpture.

Is he worried he would show how incompetent he is? God help us trying to influence other nations if he is elected with an outright majority.

Oh right glad I never started a twitter account I’m immune (well apart from seeing it on here).

DarkDarkNight · 29/11/2019 13:11

TheEnglishInpatient it doesn’t matter who his dad is/was. It doesn’t matter if he knows more about environmental issues than his Son. He is not the leader of the Conservative party. He is not suitable to stand in for the leader in a debate.

He is not a government minister. He does not know Boris Johnson’s policies, he can not make promises or claims on his behalf.

Yep. Good. Get used to it, if he carries on as PM. He's a charlatan.

Well here's another one for you. I dread to think what the Johnson snr and jnr say in private.

here's another one for you.

Absolutely shameful, but not surprising.

Not to mention his grandfather and presumably his father too must have been Muslim?

StoneofDestiny · 29/11/2019 16:42

Yet people can trust a man who is unable to accurately provide any ounce of credibility around funding his magical spending spree

Johnson and Trump together with their runaway mouths will bring us into a war situation - and guess what, money will be found for that pdq!

StoneofDestiny · 29/11/2019 16:54

Rees Mogg has been shut away, now Boris Johnson in hiding from scrutiny - speaks volumes - because when they speak they show what they really think of the electorate. They think hiding away will make us forget their shameless utterances.

Tellmetruth4 · 29/11/2019 17:06

That video at 16.20! Fucking hell. I cannot believe it.

Roussette · 29/11/2019 17:25

Rees Mogg has been shut away

He has tweeted today and I've replied telling him to go away, and challenged him on his facts. Just incidentally there is a wonderful Labour guy up against him in NE Somerset (someone I vaguely know and have chatted politics with). If anyone can topple Jacob or reduce his majority greatly, he's yer man.

Apologies picked up only available free paper in supermarket, The Mail. Interesting article

ALongHardWinter · 29/11/2019 18:00

He sent his dad?! OMG that's so funny!

ForalltheSaints · 29/11/2019 18:22

I didn't agree with the ice sculpture but agree that it is yet another example of Mr Johnson trying to dodge scrutiny. A man who cannot even acknowledge the number of children he has.

curlykaren · 29/11/2019 18:25

@IfOnlyIKnewThen just watched that clip, fucking hell, shocking.

user1471505356 · 29/11/2019 18:29

They could pass for each other.

Alsohuman · 29/11/2019 18:33

That clip is horrendous. It needs to go viral.

Treaclepie19 · 29/11/2019 19:03

Gosh. I've just sat and watched these clips.
It makes me so angry that people are voting for someone so utterly vile.
How can we have someone like Boris running the country? And why is his Dad even listened to when he speaks that way?
