What IS your treat meal?

Mine is mashed potato (ready made from Tesco fridge), with loads of butter and cheese mashed into it.

Then you take a corned beef pasty, heat up in the microwave. Shred into chunks.

Stir this through the mash.

Top with ketchup? Which required marbling into the dish.

😋😋😋😋

Your turn...

Pasta, slightly undercooked, butter, salt

BeeFarseer · 22/11/2019 17:31

A packet of Batchelors macaroni cheese. I add cauliflower, mustard powder, and obscene amounts of cheese and black pepper.

Mine is similar to yours OP - mash with loads of cheese in it, and I mix peas into it as well. Food of the Gods Grin

I had cheese on toast for lunch today. I haven't eaten cheese on toast for years and it was bloody lovely. I hoicked it out of the grill at just the right moment, when the cheese was bubbling and starting to brown slightly.

How on earth did I forget it was so delicious?

Lindy2 · 22/11/2019 17:33

Cheese on toast with a big blob of Branston pickle on each slice is proper comfort food.

SpunBodgeSquarepants · 22/11/2019 17:35

Fish finger sandwich. With ketchup. Or a white bread roll stuffed with chips from the fish and chip shop with loads of salt and real butter.

DBML · 22/11/2019 17:36

Oh goodness we’re a bunch of piggies 🤤

@StealthPolarBear replace salt with feta cheese and you’ll never look back

bridgetreilly · 22/11/2019 17:38

Cheesy mash is excellent, but you have to make it yourself and then serve it with a LOT of sausages.

Themazeoflife · 22/11/2019 17:39

Baked Camembert with fresh cooked bread and a Caesar salad smothered in Caesar sauce Dressing.

Dramaofallama · 22/11/2019 17:54

Cheesy jacket potato.
When jacket is fully cooked, scoop out all potato and mash it up with grated cheese and raw chopped onions then stuff it back in the jacket and put back in the oven for 5 more minutes.
Absolute bliss Grin

Stickybeaksid · 22/11/2019 17:57

Home made mac and cheese with sausages cut up into little pieces and smothered in ketchup. They specifically need to be Ispini (Irish brand of sausages) because they achieve the correct level of sticky sausagey goodness required when cooked.

KTD27 · 22/11/2019 17:59

My sisters roast beef sandwich. She makes gravy in a pan and dips store bought thin slices of beef in it to warm up. Buttered tiger roll and red onions, beef slices and gravy. 🤤
