What IS your treat meal?

Mine is mashed potato (ready made from Tesco fridge), with loads of butter and cheese mashed into it.

Then you take a corned beef pasty, heat up in the microwave. Shred into chunks.

Stir this through the mash.

Top with ketchup? Which required marbling into the dish.

100% With you on jacket potato with cheese and baked beans but also coleslaw ....so delicious I have phases of eating this every night for days, easy, delicious, healthy (ish) and so comforting ....you have to embrace the positive things about autumn/winter 🐷

Peanut butter and plastic cheese sandwich, microwaved briefly

Finally, a thread I can win.

Champ with a soft fried egg on top.
Toasted sandwich, made of white bread and easi singles in those old toasted sandwich makers.
A portion of chips, with curry one side, garlic the other and cheese on top.
Potato cakes. Yesterdays mash, yesterdays leftover veg. Some fried chopped rashers. Plenty of salt and pepper. All mushed up with an egg and some flour and fried til crispy and gorgeous. Serve with mayonnaise or even harissa dressing and a candid orange.

Shop fridge section Macaroni Cheese with more cheddar added, black pepper and cut up hot dog sausages.

Tortilla chips mixed up with spicy salsa, topped with grated cheese and roquito peppers. Baked in the oven and served with sour cream.

Baked Camembert with red current jelly, a rocket salad and crusty bread.

Pretty much every single post on here has featured cheese.

Cheesy pasta. Once pasta is boiled and drained I mix in chedder cheese until it's a gooey mess. Love it.

Beef super noodles with a tin of sweetcorn mixed in.

If we’re talking about cheap and cheerful as opposed to a fillet mignon then I’m partial to that tinned chicken in white sauce with a bag of nuked rice with a good grind of salt and pepper. Just eaten from a bowl with a spoon on the sofa.

My son introduced me to a new fish and chip place which is amaaaaaazing! With that in mind:
Cod and chips (loads of salt and vinegar)
Pickled egg
Curry sauce
Can of Rio

And they deliver woohoo!

Weetabix and butter (must be cold butter) with a big cup of tea

Bacon sandwiches (bacon fried not grilled)

Lamp chops, mash and peas and gravy with loads of mint sauce (mixed into the mash also)

Fried halloumi with baby plum tomatoes and a lot of fresh basil.

Tinned red salmon. Lovely, share a tin with the dog every 4 weeks or so. Nobody else in family will go near it.

Fried posh rich-yolk eggs on toast doused in soy sauce.

Omelette sandwich a la Indian train food service - between two slices of white bread with a few sprinkled chillies bits.

Cheesy mash with baked beans

Oven cooked massively veg-loaded rice topped with a fillet of salmon or a couple of soft boiled eggs

Mashed tinned sardines on toast (the ones in tomato sauce) and sliced tomatoes on top

Toast with cream cheese and sliced fresh figs, drizzle of posh balsamic

Mashed banana on toast with cheese on top, grilled to perfection. Don’t slam it until you try it.

Fish cakes and jarred tartare with spinach.

3 Vegetable fingers in white bread with loads of mayo.

Egg banjos, plenty of ketchup 🍳🍞 🍅
