What IS your treat meal?

Mine is mashed potato (ready made from Tesco fridge), with loads of butter and cheese mashed into it.

Then you take a corned beef pasty, heat up in the microwave. Shred into chunks.

Stir this through the mash.

Top with ketchup? Which required marbling into the dish.

😋😋😋😋

Your turn...

If takeaway - Lemon Chicken and Prawn Toast

If at home a full Roast as it's not really something I do often

constantlyseekinghappiness · 22/11/2019 18:03

Oooh chip butty is a good call - a proper chip shop one with lots of salt and vinegar.

Or chips and curry sauce.

Bearfrills · 22/11/2019 18:07

Out - PB & Double J burger from Fat Hippo in Newcastle. It's a burger with bacon and chilli jam. It sounds so wrong but oh my god, it is soooooo good.

At home - fish finger sandwich on white bread with butter and tomato sauce.

Newbie1999 · 22/11/2019 18:07

Massive old school Chinese - salt and chilli prawns, chicken chow mein, special fried rice, chips and curry sauce

Bearfrills · 22/11/2019 18:07

Burger with peanut butter and bacon and chilli jam

Averyyounggrandmaofsix · 22/11/2019 18:08

Fish fingers and tinned spaghetti with white bread and butter.

Spaghetti (not tinned) with grated cheese and ketchup

Petrarkanian · 22/11/2019 18:09

Chip barm with butter on one side and beans.

StarlingsInSummer · 22/11/2019 18:10

Tinned salmon sandwiches with vinegar and salt and pepper.... always our Boxing Day evening meal when I was little. Everyone outside my family goes green when I mention it! I suspect it’s very working class northern (which is what we were!).

stripeypillowcase · 22/11/2019 18:11

thai sweet chilly chrisps dipped in full fat cream cheese.

ALemonyPea · 22/11/2019 18:13

Heinz tomato soup with a fuckton of grated cheese and black pepper, served with buttered white bread.

YouFellAsleeep · 22/11/2019 18:14

Home cooked chicken on sandwiches whilst still warm with cheese coleslaw

crispysausagerolls · 22/11/2019 18:21

People saying restaurants and take away are incorrect - this thread is for weird and wonderful stuff made at home, surely? Eg ready salt crisp sandwich with lots of butter, or spaghetti with peanut butter 🤗

crispysausagerolls · 22/11/2019 18:21

Intrigued by the suggestions of spaghetti and feta, as well as peanut butter and burger

JaceLancs · 22/11/2019 18:21

Fruit crumble or sponge pudding and custard

JaceLancs · 22/11/2019 18:22

I can’t eat any as am gluten free and the substitutes aren’t as nice

PlaymobilPirate · 22/11/2019 18:22

Chip butty with batter and curry sauce from the chippy

Home scuzzy tea is a tin of cream of chicken soup with curry powder with rice. Lush!

adaline · 22/11/2019 18:24

Chips, cheese and gravy. Ideally with mayo to dip!

Eckhart · 22/11/2019 18:25

I have enjoyed eating this thread (in my mind).

For me, fish finger sandwich on decent white bread, with ketchup, aaaand... lots of vinegar. tummy rumble

PlumsGalore · 22/11/2019 18:26

A whole pepperoni pizza with added red onions, green pepper and jalapeños and the best part of a top of finest coleslaw.

Not weird but so full of calories i daren't indulge that often.

Eckhart · 22/11/2019 18:27

@adaline Cheese and gravy?! I thought that was against the law?

Eckhart · 22/11/2019 18:28

Ooh avocado on sourdough toast with olive oil and sea salt.

I can't stop posting, I'm over excited...

elephantoverthehill · 22/11/2019 18:29

Jace I'm GF too but I love a baked camembert with GF sour dough toast, it's good for cheese on toast too.
