It's your house of course you can answer the door in PJ's. As long as you are not exposing yourself I doubt they will care and even if they do they will be gone in 10 seconds and you will never see them again.
If you are really worried put a hoodie on and they will never known

I had to internet order new trousers after DS was born as I had nothing except a couple of smarter dresses that fitted comfortably. I hope the postman was sufficiently distracted by the cute baby and oversized cardigan to not realise that the only functional trousers I owned were in his hands

I'm in the middle of getting a kitchen fitted and have been answering the door to workmen while wearing jammies and goonie all week.
Plus the odd Amazon delivery as Christmas is coming and my daughter's birthday is next week.
No one has batted an eyelid.
I also used to nip to the shop in jammies when it was just along the street and regularly put bins out or nip down to my car for something while wearing jammies. See my neighbours doing the same all the time.

I only wear non pyjamas in the house if I am expecting guests.
Delivery people or random politicians looking for my vote get my pjs & dressing gown if it's cold enough.
I do however deliberately buy the sort of pyjamas that look like day clothes.
Nobody has ever batted an eyelid.
