Am I being unreasonable to take my burley neighbour up on his offer to lift and shove this car 3m down the road, so that I can at least access the left hand side of my drive?! It's been there since 1pm yesterday...

The left hand side has a dropped curb, which they are parked in front of. The right hand side has 50/50 dropped to raised curb.

do you have a car? the inference is yes but you don't actually say if you.

CoffeeRunner · 12/11/2019 16:48

YANBU! Some people are so thoughtless.

Indecisivelurcher · 12/11/2019 16:48

Yes, got 2 cars that we are having to park elsewhere.

well in that case, your neighbour is an absolute arsehole. grossly selfish and as long as it suits him, fuck everyone else, eh?

toycar · 12/11/2019 16:51

what is the offer all about? He has offered to move it?

NotSorry · 12/11/2019 16:51

WTF is wrong with people?

InfiniteSheldon · 12/11/2019 16:51

I think the neighbour is offering to help move the strangers car......

NotSorry · 12/11/2019 16:52

Some posters need to reread the OP

Indecisivelurcher · 12/11/2019 16:52

@toycar, it's not my neighbours car, my neighbour is offering to push it along the road a bit so it's more out of my way! Aibu to say yes please! We don't know whose car it is, it's also untaxed...

tinysnickersaremyfavourite · 12/11/2019 16:53

Bump it!

dementedpixie · 12/11/2019 16:53

They dont know whose car it is. The neighbour is offering to help move it.

PickwickThePlockingDodo · 12/11/2019 16:53

Irrelevant if OP has a car or not, nobody should park across her drive.
Get it shoved down the road OP Grin

redcarbluecar · 12/11/2019 16:53

Is it possible to move someone else’s parked car? I’d be tempted to take him up on the offer if so.

HairyFloppins · 12/11/2019 16:53

Yes get it moved OP.

OrangeZog · 12/11/2019 16:54

Definitely take him up on his offer. It’s a shame he can’t move it even further away to completely disorientate the inconsiderate driver!

Moondancer73 · 12/11/2019 16:54

Totally yes to getting it moved. Parking it there is massively ignorant. Not only would I move it, I'd let the tyres down once I'd done it

toycar · 12/11/2019 16:54

lol, i read it as his, not this, lol and thank you. Hope being snide made you feel big NotSorry.

dementedpixie · 12/11/2019 16:54

You can report it online for being untaxed. Ring the non urgent police number too

Indecisivelurcher · 12/11/2019 16:54

My neighbour has got arms like trunks, reckons he can give it a little lift and push... 😉

OP posts:
GabriellaMontez · 12/11/2019 16:55

Move it and report it.

dementedpixie · 12/11/2019 16:55

Report it as untaxed and call 101 about it blocking a dropped kerb

Antigonads · 12/11/2019 16:55

Move it somewhere that the police will take an interest - like the middle of the road.

WiddlinDiddlin · 12/11/2019 16:55

How far can burly neighbour push it (presumably like a wheelbarrow).. has he got some burly friends...

I'd be keen to recreate the old rugby team wheeze of picking car up and moving it, turning it around, and placing it somewhere entirely different.... but you do need most of a team for that.

floatyjosmum · 12/11/2019 16:55

if its untaxed I'd report it and hope someone moves it (no idea who moves untaxed cars though)
