I have to admit when I read about the death of Richard Huckle it was quite literally the best news I've heard for weeks. Im not usually a death penalty advocate but this genuinely feels like justice to me.

My thoughts exactly raspberryk.

This thread is fascinating. So posters who are disgusted by the behaviour of the paedophile, believe he should be severely punished, and that society should be kept safe from him BUT don't agree with him being murdered either in or outside prison or killed by the state are now being verbally attacked by those who do. I'm not sure why people can't express different options and have a robust discussion without it becoming personal.

Of course victims and their families/loved ones are likely to feel differently

Many would want the death penalty to return or some form of torture and I can totally understand how they feel

It doesn’t mean I support that
