Agree I cannot go into places like Nando’s and kfc

DS wanted to go. We did. He vomited on the way back to the car. Haven’t been back. Grim low welfare chicken and dodgy rice that tastes like it’s been microwaved. Yuck.

I bloody love Nando’s. We moved a few years ago to somewhere quite remote so we’re not often in a town that has one and I really miss it!

I’d take a KFC over Nandos any day of the week!

Do not get Nando’s. Overpriced chicken and chips or dry rice that I have to queue and order and pay way over the odds for. No thanks!

YANBU. I don't see the appeal in the place. I've been a few times because my friend absolutely loves it so I go for the company not the food. I try to suggest other places but she insists on Nando's. Each to their own though. I'm sure lots of people wouldn't see the appeal in the restaurants I choose to dine in either.

I mean £10 for a smallish burger and extra for the fries

I agree, its awful

Much rather take myself off to a 2 for offer place where I actually get a complete meal without breaking the bank

I love Nando’s. I like the flavours and the peri salted chips

I though it was ok, nothing special. From what i recall there was a lot of getting up and down ordering/getting sauces/drinks etc.

I have never been to Nandos!

@Clappingforjoy I agree- I find Nandos overpriced, bland and too same-y! Chicken and chips is not for me!

I just hate the ordering system. I sound ancient but why can’t they just take your order at the table. You’re seated by a waiter, why do I then need to go and queue up to order my food. It’s just annoying. DH and I once walked out of one because it was so noisy 🙈 we were only mid twenties at the time!

Also got served raw chicken there once. When your speciality is chicken surely you can get that bit right?

I guess they will continue to thrive because people are paying it

Below average food, poor quality service at high prices. What is there to like?

I feel like people who love Nando’s are the same people who don’t know how to season thier food.

Nando’s tastes like cheap, rank, bland, unseasoned food

I've been once and it gave me a funny tummy. Never again.

Chicken is also the cheapest meat so even more a RIP off

You might be interested to know the kitchens are just for show - all the chickens are pre cooked at a central kitchen

It's awful and sooo expensive, a thimble full of bland rice and a morsel of greasy chicken. My old workplace used to make us go there for staff meetings (extended lunch 'treat') and of course we had to pay for our meal. I resented paying more than an hour's wage for a meal that tasted so bad and I was always ravenous halfway through the afternoon.
