(Video is Lynsey on This Morning telling us we should make sure our bras are clipped together and separate them from towels before we wash) I wanna know how she has the time.

It’s NOT time consuming nor difficult NOT to wash t towels with your knickers. That’s just GRIM

The question seems to be based on the idea that your knickers are somehow full of germs .....GRIM in fact. I don't know about anyone else's but my knickers are pretty normal and not full of bacteria. I wash everything together and am still in good health .

Hannahmates · 03/08/2019 06:34

I don't wash underwear with tea towels. I find that a bit gross.

StarlightLady · 03/08/2019 06:46

Maybe we should all give up on the tea towels. Oh, and the knickers! Grin Problem solved. And more money to spend on shoes. Smile

ThighsRelief · 03/08/2019 08:59

I use my knickers as shoes.

SlocombePooter · 03/08/2019 09:23

People often need flame-proof knickers on Mumsnet, Thigh, and they are not really washable.

HairyDogsInUnusualPlaces · 03/08/2019 09:34

I use my shoes as knickers. It gives me a shuffling gait, but cuts down on the laundry.

DanglyWhoreTassels · 03/08/2019 09:46

I tread in dog shit on purpose with knickers on my shoes! It adds a certain je ne c'est quoi.

ThighsRelief · 03/08/2019 09:52

Julian c'est quoi? But that's a boys name!

DanglyWhoreTassels · 03/08/2019 09:58

I self ID as Julian sometimes when I stick on my cock!

thislovelylidowithaview · 04/08/2019 13:01

Don’t forget Julian of Norwich, Thigh, a saint like Danglia.

thislovelylidowithaview · 04/08/2019 13:01

And female

SlocombePooter · 04/08/2019 13:35

Unlike Julian and Sandy (RIP)

thislovelylidowithaview · 04/08/2019 13:47

And Timmy.

thislovelylidowithaview · 04/08/2019 13:47

Wait, who’s Sandy? I’m thinking of Dick. Too much time with Dangly.

SlocombePooter · 04/08/2019 13:49

But George was a girl, or maybe a saint?

SlocombePooter · 04/08/2019 14:00

Very old comedy duo!

PinkSparklyPussyCat · 04/08/2019 14:21

Knickers are washed separately from towels but only because there's not enough room for clothes in a towel wash. Everything else goes in together, I don't even separate colours unless something is new and might run..

1WayOrAnother · 04/08/2019 14:26

I knew this would be contentious Grin

Separate towels & don't put fabric conditioner in so they stay fluffy & absorbent. Separate anything that might run. Otherwise crack on. The sense of outrage in here is hilarious.

bananasandwicheseveryday · 04/08/2019 14:34

I sort washing by colour, though towels and bedding get washed separately on a higher temperature - everything else goes through at 40°. Tea towels go in with whatever is being washed as I hate having tea towels hanging around waiting for a wash. Any wash that includes underwear, as well as the towels and bedding, get a dose of dettol washing disinfectant.

NCforthis2019 · 04/08/2019 14:38

I wash towels separately, sheets separately. Underwear goes on a hand wash cycle.

DanglyWhoreTassels · 04/08/2019 16:33

I put my knickers on my head and then seal them on with my tea towel with eyes cut out of it like a kind of gimp mask! Then I add a dog collar! It's my scene!

YoTheGinPussy · 04/08/2019 16:40

Mine too, I stick my knickers to my bonce with my own ordure for extra sticking power. I find it helps me get through my busy day so much better.

YoTheGinPussy · 04/08/2019 16:41

I keep a thistle in my bum knickers to keep me lively, no shirking or sitting down for me.

DanglyWhoreTassels · 04/08/2019 16:44

It really does doesn't it Yo, it's these little things that make the housework and the personal admin so much more fun to get through each day!

DanglyWhoreTassels · 04/08/2019 16:45

Hey, now that thistle trick is something I cannot wait to try! Thanks so much, I'll get so much done tomorrow!
