(Video is Lynsey on This Morning telling us we should make sure our bras are clipped together and separate them from towels before we wash) I wanna know how she has the time.

What is a knickers what is a cloths?

beanaseireann · 18/07/2019 12:09

Oops excuse the random "bold"Shock

M3lon · 18/07/2019 15:54

I want a womble life hacks youtube channel and I want it NOW.

DanglyWhoreTassels · 18/07/2019 16:06

Yes M3 I do too!

She should call herself Mrs Winch and we will all do 'Winching'

SlocombePooter · 18/07/2019 16:21

But I don't want to get dragged into a cult, my children would have me kidnapped and deprogrammed.

SlocombePooter · 18/07/2019 16:23

I am very weak willed and suggestible.

Wombleish · 18/07/2019 16:32

Alas, I'm too sodding lazy to arse about on YouTube. I can barely get off the sofa.

Ooh, I do have a great tip for Zoflora though!

Don't buy it. The fucking stuff is massively toxic, can cause breathing difficulties in susceptible people, may kill your beloved pets and damage wildlife when it gets into the water table.

swimwithaview · 18/07/2019 16:33

Would you like to invest in my amazing new detergent, Pooter?

Wombleish · 18/07/2019 16:33

No idea why that posted twice. As I'm so lazy, I only pressed post once.

SlocombePooter · 18/07/2019 16:36

Lido the kids locked my account after I bought those magic beans ;-(

ArgyMargy · 18/07/2019 16:36

I love how these threads generally go hilariously extreme and yet there are always posters who will genuinely answer the (bizarre and ridiculous) original question.

Also these threads have, IMO, fundamentally changed the use and meaning of the word grim.

That is all.

SlocombePooter · 18/07/2019 16:47

Margy how very true! They are so eager to shout out their Rules, it is like every child with their hand up, waiting to be noticed by teacher!

I do feel (only slightly) guilty for commenting, because I find it amusing. But I am old and bored...

YoThePussy · 18/07/2019 17:05

I am old and bored as well SlocombePooter. My daily grind is sitting sucking my teeth over Mumsnet each morning tutting at the young things and their new fangled toys they talk about. Dish washers and tumble dryers, hurumph.

A wash board and when it comes my welcome present of a gusset/vegetable brush from Thighland is all I need to get me through wash day along with my trusty mangle.

SlocombePooter · 18/07/2019 17:16

Yo -if you can forgive the informality- you are not wrong. Only those of us old enough to have experienced a tit/mangle incident are qualified to comment.

Thigh is on the other thread claiming to be disgusted. I think she means disgusting but what's the odd typo between friends?

Wavyheaded · 18/07/2019 17:21

I wash most things in together (exceptions being bedding, silk or wool) at either 30 or 40 degrees, and I add some Dettol into the wash at low temperatures. I think it's fine.

YoThePussy · 18/07/2019 17:45

Ah yes Tit/Mangle incidents. Too many of them to count and trips to A&E. Now that is what ‘boobing’ really is about.

SlocombePooter · 18/07/2019 18:06

Hence newfangled washing machines. Elf and Safety innit?

ThighsRelief · 18/07/2019 21:02

I feel objectified. Why are people constantly talking about my tits. We've lived through Sam Fox and Linda Lusardi and now there's me.

Well apparently red , we are the dumb ones for not realising how poo and fanny bugs can hop from item to item during the laundry process!

But that's ok cos my whole family have the clap!

Savoury99 · 19/07/2019 23:37

I think you are all minging. I have a pants wash, socks wash. I'm not even posh.

Savoury99 · 19/07/2019 23:39

I have a full time job too.

Tillygetsit · 20/07/2019 00:10

Why is it grim to wash knickers and tea towels together? They're being washed. Some people need to get a life!

Savoury99 · 20/07/2019 00:12

I have an amazing life. I just wash my pants separate.

ThighsRelief · 20/07/2019 00:15

What if one pair of pants contaminates another? You should wash each pair separately on 90.
