(Video is Lynsey on This Morning telling us we should make sure our bras are clipped together and separate them from towels before we wash) I wanna know how she has the time.

I wash towels, tea towels and cloths on a hot wash separately.
Other than that it’s light and dark washes and the occasional hand wash cycle.

ThighsRelief · 17/07/2019 22:26

I AM THIGH

GeneralMelchettsProject · 17/07/2019 22:58

Emperor Thigh, is it ok to wash pants with tea towels?

swimwithaview · 17/07/2019 22:58

Get out of the machine, Thigh.

HollowTalk · 17/07/2019 23:02

It's all a way of trying to control women. Throw it all in together, but don't put too many towels in the wash as they are really heavy.

HairyDogsInUnusualPlaces · 17/07/2019 23:03

Emperor Thigh has new/no clothes. Let's all be like Emperor Thigh. No more washing!

GeneralMelchettsProject · 17/07/2019 23:05

Nudity would solve most problems.

Benjispruce · 17/07/2019 23:05

Altogether! Nobody died, it’s a machine that ‘washes’ 😂

DanglyWhoreTassels · 18/07/2019 08:46

Emporer Thigh I am naked in your honour!

ThighsRelief · 18/07/2019 08:48

You are not Naked, you are a Whore.

DanglyWhoreTassels · 18/07/2019 08:50

But I am a naked Whore

Naked can be a naked Naked

SlocombePooter · 18/07/2019 09:06

Come the Glorious Revolution, nobody will be compelled to wear knickers! The Government will provide a dishwasher in every home, thus abolishing tea towels! Problem solved!

ThighsRelief · 18/07/2019 09:25

I drink tea from my cupped hands Hmm

DanglyWhoreTassels · 18/07/2019 09:46

Well I drink poo-crumb coffee with my cupped hands!

Wait ... is this the common thread or the knickers thread?

Oh that'll do for either I reckon!

ThighsRelief · 18/07/2019 09:51

This is the poo tea towels thread.

DanglyWhoreTassels · 18/07/2019 09:57

Right ok, well, all just know that I wipe my bum with my hand to be super- hygienic!

CatherineOfAragonsPrayerBook · 18/07/2019 10:03

I separate wash loads by colour and again by how delicate they are.

Underwear and bath towels get washed together or separately

Tea towels, Aprons, dish cloths and table linen get washed together separatey from everything else on hot wash. But I build it up to a significant load before washing. Dirty linen goes in a bucket with a lid until there's enough to wash.

Would never wash underwear with kitchen linen!

Yes

Wombleish · 18/07/2019 10:36

I take my knickers off in my fortnightly shower and use them to wash my face and body. Then I use the the teatowel to dry myself; really getting into all my nooks and crannies, then hang it back up in the kitchen to dry the dishes later that day.

I thought everyone did this? Confused

SlocombePooter · 18/07/2019 10:50

womble you should do a YouTube video for this, it would help a lot of people and save the planet.

Wombleish · 18/07/2019 10:57

That's a brilliant idea, Poots! I also have a few other eco ideas. Eg, I don't use furniture polish, as I've found that if you leave the dust for long enough, you can peel it all off in one thick layer. Do you think I could become the next Mrs Hinch?

swimwithaview · 18/07/2019 11:00

Do you make the thick layers of dust into cushions? It seems rather a waste not to.

Wombleish · 18/07/2019 11:06

Great idea TL. Stuffed into a duvet cover, I can make a comfy mattress to lounge upon while eating snax.

SlocombePooter · 18/07/2019 11:48

Well you see birds having dust baths, which maintains the natural oils in their feathers. I suspect there is a marketing opportunity for dust, most people are just unable to see it.

CoffeeAndCakeEssentials · 18/07/2019 11:53

I chuck everything in together but I do use a laundry anti-bac.
