To give ds the benefit of the doubt and believe him

Ds’s girlfriend is 11 weeks pregnant, they are both 17 and although when they found out about the pregnancy there were lots of tears and reality checks they have decided to go through with the pregnancy.

2 weeks ago it came to light that ds ex-girlfriend is pregnant and she is claiming that ds is the father, ds is still friends with his ex and he has now admitted staying over at her parents house with her a few times but he is denying sleeping with her.

His girlfriend has ended the relationship with him because of this and refuses to answer any of his calls so he decided to give her some space in the hope that she would calm down and speak to him.

He went out with his friends on Saturday night and his girlfriend phoned me in tears because someone sent her a snapchat of ds kissing his friends cousin and she said she’s also heard that he slept with the cousin, I was furious and when ds got home I questioned him about it and he denied it all and told me that I either believe him or stay out of his personal life.

S1naidSucks · 24/06/2019 15:56

oooohhhh I think I'll get the popcorn Could you get me some sweet and salty while you’re there, please?

BatFacedGirl · 24/06/2019 15:57

Ugh. Your son sounds pretty feral to me. What a mess, if this is real. I'd be having a long think about how my young son managed to go so off the rails. Jeremy Kyle fodder

billy1966 · 24/06/2019 15:57

@HollowTalk
Exactly.

As a parent, I'd be Batshit to find my son had fathered two children and was messing with a 3rd.

What an appalling mess.
Those poor girls.
I'd be reading him the riot act.

Has he ever been told about safe sex?

If he has, has he just ignored what he's been told?

He sounds like a right prize telling you to butt out.

BatFacedGirl · 24/06/2019 15:59

Although.... this isn't real is it?

Nesssie · 24/06/2019 15:59

Grin Grin Grin the other thread is bloody hilarious knowing the gf is now pregnant Grin Grin Grin

I've got 2 buckets of salty and 2 buckets of sweet, an XL Pepsi and some Minstrels. Anything else?

S1naidSucks · 24/06/2019 16:00

Could I have some peanuts please? I’d get them myself, but I don’t want to leave the thread. 😁

SilverySurfer · 24/06/2019 16:00

This is so depressing to read. Did your DS think he had super sperm which required no contraception? He had better grow up fast, he will soon have financial responsibility for two new lives. Hope he's got a good job. If he had sex with another girl, that could be pregnancy number three since he's obviously clueless about condoms.

Oh and if you didn't have 'the talk' with him yet, I think you've left it too late.

Lastly, no, I wouldn't give him the benefit of the doubt. What a mess.

Eh?? Where does it imply he shagged his cousin? hmm

In the OP: someone sent her a snapchat of ds kissing his friends cousin and she said she’s also heard that he slept with the cousin

AryaStarkWolf · 24/06/2019 16:01

anyone got a link to the other thread?

ColdTattyWaitingForSummer · 24/06/2019 16:01

What’s the log cabin thread?? (Tried searching, but nothing promising came up..)

WizardOfAus · 24/06/2019 16:01

This cannot be for real.

BatFacedGirl · 24/06/2019 16:02

To give ds the benefit of the doubt and believe him
jameswong · 24/06/2019 16:02

Where's his father in all this?

nauseous5000 · 24/06/2019 16:02

Christ. I felt sorry for you til someone pointed out you were log cabin mum

Loveislandaddict · 24/06/2019 16:03

Does the photo still exist? That will prove/disprove whether he kissed the cousin.

Your son has developed a Jeremy Kyle reputation at the age of 17. I’m inclined to think there is no smoke without fire. I think you need to do some questioning and get to the root of the matter, and oretty fast.

AryaStarkWolf · 24/06/2019 16:04

@Nesssie Thank you Grin

Nesssie · 24/06/2019 16:07

Apologies for the delay @S1naidSucks there was queue, here's your peanuts.

Mummyoflittledragon · 24/06/2019 16:07

You said in March in the log cabin thread he was spending more time with his ex and was maybe getting back together with her.

Why do you not want understand that there is an overwhelming likelihood he has got two girls pregnant and is flirting with the idea of fucking someone else?? So I say again, are you waiting for him to score a hat trick?!! Who cares if he isn’t listening, if he’s not leaving the room, can’t you just talk?

Wildorchidz · 24/06/2019 16:08

Just imagine OP - you could be a granny to three by Christmas!!!
How lovely for you Grin

BorisBadunov · 24/06/2019 16:08

Surely one of the babies will be called Logan

MrsTerryPratchett · 24/06/2019 16:08

I missed the log cabin. Thanks!

ChuckleBuckles · 24/06/2019 16:10

Where's his father in all this?

@jameswong This is from the last thread:

My head is honestly spinning with him, I tried to speak to my husband about this and he was of the attitude of just leave him to get on with it and don’t get involved he will learn his own lessons

So lesson learned, I suppose.

steppemum · 24/06/2019 16:11

OP - your ds needs a serious reality check.
He needs to be told to get a job and start paying for his kids, and to contiinue his education at night school OR maybe, just maybe he coudl allow you to be involved in his personal life, starting with listening to a lecture on contraception and responsibility.

The correct response to this is to go apeshit at his lack of concern for the women he is sleepign with, and make him face up to it.
