Hello everyone, here's thread 2.

I'd be very grateful if someone could do a clicky link to the last one. Still can't figure it out.

Thanks!

Harry wouldn’t have been at the marathon on Sunday if there was anything amiss with mother or baby. I think the baby is just late!

BishopBrennansArse · 01/05/2019 09:03

Ooh and this one

Humpy84 · 01/05/2019 09:04

I think they have told the media (according to what telegraph and other publications are saying ) that they will make announcement about labour, give basic details when baby is born and follow up thereafter with photos a few days later.

I don’t think they’ll do the labour or birth announcement when it happens. I think this is a red herring to keep media at bay.

I think they will just do the photos because once people catch wind of a baby then there will be too much pressure to release photos.

Possible that she still hasn’t had the baby but I just don’t think so.

Also I think they’re all ok and that’s why the queen visited, for me I think it’s the queen visit that was the major giveaway, I don’t think Liz does drop in tea visits.

LOVE those codenames!!!!! Grin

Dongdingdong · 01/05/2019 09:05

The blind gossip item is a load of crap IMO. Meghan wouldn’t be that stupid to leak something this big - she just wouldn’t. And Kate and Harry appeared to be getting on just fine at the Anzac Day service recently.

Dongdingdong · 01/05/2019 09:06

That’s a good point actually.

Humpy84 · 01/05/2019 09:07

Meanwhile big Willy escaped touble...the royal baby is on the everyone’s minds and we’ve all forgot about his NAughtyfolk Rose.

waterandlemonjuice · 01/05/2019 09:16

Surely the queen visited because the baby had been born? Why would she, otherwise?

waterandlemonjuice · 01/05/2019 09:18

Btw even 15yos at my daughter’s school are gossiping about W&K - dd came home yesterday asking ‘has Prince William cheated on Kate?” (I said I had no idea, obvs)

MissEliza · 01/05/2019 09:20

The blind gossip article is funny though. Love the nicknames!

catofaragon · 01/05/2019 09:28

I'm crying with laughter at those blind gossip names. Starchy and limelight!!

Humpy84 · 01/05/2019 09:28

All I can say about Cheat-Gate is that if he did it he doesn’t have a hope of being king. If you’re cheating in your 30’s on a wife that has a bottom like a teenage Victoria’s Secret model then what hope do you have ? Think those sun photos of him in verbier in 2017 didn’t get as much attention as they deserved. I would be livid if my husband had his arm on the WAIST of another scantily clad woman. I just can’t think of any situation in a dimly lit bar where this doesn’t indicate handshake flirtation. Don’t think he will make it through being a middle aged Pwales that doesn’t get caught in order to secure his kingship. I think the reason we’ve not had scandals is because we don’t have middle aged royals. Perhaps it didn’t happen but if it did...

Haworthia · 01/05/2019 09:29

I never trust Blind Gossip anymore. It’s so obvious that they churn out blind after blind about really popular topics just for clicks.

I used to trust them because they broke a lot of stories ahead of time (Caitlyn Jenner’s transition being one) but they also used to publish ENDLESS stories about Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson being gay for each other, and it was total clickbait.

Humpy84 · 01/05/2019 09:30

Handsy flirtation 😂

Annasgirl · 01/05/2019 09:30

So odd, I'm in Ireland and my 12 year old son said - isn't it awful about William and Kate - he is on Team Kate!!!!! And all of DD's friends are talking about it. They all feel sorry for Kate.

If, and a big if, this is true, why is Kate tolerating it? I know it would destroy her and she saw what happened to Diana, but really, she comes from a happy home, how could she honestly put up with this? But if it is not true, where on earth did the rumour come from? And how has it gathered legs?

Daisypie · 01/05/2019 09:31

I think it would be a mistake not to announce the baby's arrival. Nothing will stop them spending time privately with the baby. We are hardly all going to be knocking at the door. But if they want us to hang on their every word as global saviours, they need to share a bit of basic information.

lookingelsewhere · 01/05/2019 09:31

It will be the first time in Royal history if cheating stopped someone being King - though I admit social mores have changed a lot and the Charles/Diana/Camilla stuff still casts a long shadow.

Humpy84 · 01/05/2019 09:37

I would like to think the metoo movement and feminism has made us a bit stronger and less tolerant as women to accept a philanderer as an honourable leader (ceremonial or otherwise).

We’ve just had an oz politician resign for less, videod In a strip club although that was only one of his issues. @lookingelsewhere

BishopBrennansArse · 01/05/2019 09:41

😂
this is funny

lookingelsewhere · 01/05/2019 09:41

True, Humpy84 and the RF are there by the acceptance of the people now really - the days of autocracy long over. It will be very interesting to see what happens when the Queen dies. I have a lot of respect for how she has handled her reign.

If PW HAS cheated, then who on earth will reign next? Prince Charles/Camilla won't be popular for the same reasons. So the next two in line to the throne will be unacceptable.

Humpy84 · 01/05/2019 09:41

Interesting read on the Verbier thing and why it is older than what the uk press made out

Humpy84 · 01/05/2019 09:45

Odder, keyboard on iPad 🙄

Japonicaflower2 · 01/05/2019 09:50

I was just idly wondering when MM's father will turn up on their doorstep, accompanied obviously by other family members?
That would be very interesting me thinks. It's gone very quiet about him.

Humpy84 · 01/05/2019 09:52

@lookingelsewhere I really hope it will just end. In Australia the Queen is on our coins and bank notes and her Governor General is notified if there is an election etc . She really is a symbol of the institution and the commonwealth. She’s served as a mechanic in the war and lived through numerous governments and historica, world events. Queenie is like a vessel that ties the past and the present and we respect her because she’s earned the position with sacrifice and duty. As a woman it is also nice to see a woman, especially an ageing one that is recognised the world over and has men stand before her 😆😉 Nobody ever talks about her as a feminist icon but I think she’s the ultimate. You don’t have to like her but I think most respect her. I don’t see us ever warming to another royal as monarch or taking them seriously. When the queens coronation was televised we were a more reverent, religious and less savvy society. I don’t see another coronation or king. The only person I can possibly see being able to work it is Princess Anne. The rest have become celebrities before they’ve become proper royals and don’t think I could take seriously.
