Hello everyone, here's thread 2.

I'd be very grateful if someone could do a clicky link to the last one. Still can't figure it out.

Thanks!

Interesting to note that Meghan has unfollowed all of the official Royal Instagram accounts... and yet is following the likes of www.instagram.com/theclass/

Is someone sulking, perchance?

Humpy84 · 01/05/2019 09:54

@japonicaflower2 😆 I can see Samantha rocking up with her 500 pink/blue balloons and stalk hamper to lag with a guard at Windsor.

Humpy84 · 01/05/2019 09:59

@prufomaffair 😮 not following Kensington royal or any royals 😮 mind you she’s not following Serena or Oprah either !

MissEliza · 01/05/2019 10:02

We are hardly all going to be knocking at the door Exactly!
Interesting about MM unfollowing other royal accounts.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 01/05/2019 10:35

If Meghan has already had the baby it’s got to be since Sunday. Harry looked way too relaxed at the Marathon.
I don’t believe for a second the Queen’s visit on Easter Sunday was anything other than a housewarming visit (and a nose around).

Can you imagine the AIBU if it was any other mner?
“I was sat there in my joggers with my boobs out trying to get the days old baby to latch on, when in swans my husband’s granny, brother and sil dressed up to the nines to see the baby”.

The only way to ensure privacy would be a home birth.
However given that Meghan is overdue, it’s got to be a hospital birth, probably Frimley Park.
They’ll have to be in and out and then announce the arrival quickly, otherwise other patients or staff will be sure to leak what has to be the biggest scoop.

I reckon the first photos will be taken by Harry and uploaded on their Instagram. He’s already posted some of his shots to prove he’s a good photographer. Precedent has already been set by Kate taking the photos of her children.

Interesting to note that Meghan has unfollowed all of the official Royal Instagram accounts.

Is that a new development?

Has she unfollowed or was she never following them in the first place? Some tabloid hacks spend their day checking which C List sleb has unfollowed who on Twitter or Instagram. Surely she’d be aware of that and that it would be a source of gossip?

Namechangedzzz · 01/05/2019 10:45

annasgate the queen can have custody of anyone if the direct line of succession of their parents split up.

I don't know her but if I were Kate and loved being with my children then splitting with their dad would make me worry about how much I would see my children more than if I were just an ordinary lady and not a mother of someone in the direct line of succession

desertgirl · 01/05/2019 10:46

They have put up a post saying they are changing who they flow every month to draw attention Riin to different pages

annasgirl sorry I meant to tag you above but wrote the wrong name

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 01/05/2019 10:49

That’s interesting @desertgirl
Meghan must be now one of the top “influencers”
I wonder how many followers she had on the Tig

thenightsky · 01/05/2019 10:52

BishopBrennansArse I love that! Grin

lookingelsewhere · 01/05/2019 10:59

Yes, that had an impact on Diana and her time with her boys. Definitely a big consideration, I would think.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 01/05/2019 11:02

Diana only had 50/50 and her sons were at boarding school.
Charles used to hand the boys over to TiggyLeggeBourke and that must have frustrated Diana no end, that Charles wasn’t even looking after his boys and Diana couldn’t have them either.

Mummylovesbags · 01/05/2019 11:12

@curlywurlytwirly 😢😢😢 you never really get it until you have kids of your own. Poor Di and no wonder she irrationally lashed out at Tiggi LB

Puzzledandpissedoff · 01/05/2019 11:18

the RF are there by the acceptance of the people now really - the days of autocracy long over

While true in theory, there's a lot of mileage between opponents muttering about the monarchy and anyone actually being prepared to do anything about the lot of them

Should that ever happen, the RF will spin so fast they'll be come a blur

Haworthia · 01/05/2019 11:25

I’ve just looked at the accounts followed by “sussexroyal” and it’s an interesting bunch for sure! Tbh I’d always assumed the official Royal Insta accounts absolutely were run by lackeys, but those accounts definitely look like the sort of accounts Meghan would follow Grin How weird!

InterchangeableEmma · 01/05/2019 11:28

Hmm if you read their latest insta post it is really very clear what's going on. It's nothing scandalous.

lookingelsewhere · 01/05/2019 11:30

www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/07/22/princes-william-harrytell-regret-last-conversation-mother/

The Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry have spoken of their enduring regret over their last conversation with their mother, disclosing they had been desperate to rush off the telephone and get back to playing instead.

The Duke and Prince, who were 15 and 12 when Diana, Princess of Wales, died in a car crash, said they had been busy at Balmoral when she called them, and had no notion that the short phone call would be their last.

The conversation, the Duke said, still weighs on his mind “quite, quite heavily”, while Prince Harry admitted he would regret it for the rest of his life.

_

My heart aches for the boys with regards to this.

I nearly lost a sibling last year (they now have a brain injury, but survived) and the only comfort I had when I thought I was losing them was that we had had a great conversation a few days earlier. We are geographically very distant and didn't always catch each other due to time differences.

MissEliza · 01/05/2019 11:41

What I found sad about that story was that they had clearly got used to being without their mum and that's why they weren't too fussed about speaking to her. They did spend an awful lot of time away from their mum after the divorce. She must have been very lonely.

lookingelsewhere · 01/05/2019 11:45

Yes, MissEliza must have broken her heart all over again.

www.vanityfair.com/news/2007/07/diana200707

Diana’s feeling of being marginalized was most intense as August approached. The boys disappeared into the heathery wilds of Balmoral, and they loved it. After her divorce from the Prince of Wales, invitations to similar secluded aristocratic estates with shooting for the boys did not gush forth, and she was not inclined to ask her brother for help. With her, William and Harry were stuck in London or harassed at Disney World or forced to behave themselves at some nouveau riche billionaire’s country mansion. She told the writer Shirley Conran that she felt that nothing she could offer William and Harry as a vacation could compete with Balmoral. “They do all those manly, killing things,” she said, “and there’s that wonderful go-cart track.”

elfies · 01/05/2019 11:46

I hope the Middletons give William a stern talking to.(well, a kick up the royal arse hopefully)
He almost treats them as his surrogate family ,and seems to respect them a lot, so hopefully he appreciates their point of view and sees how much Kate must be hurting . It must be awful for her, unable to trust or confide in friends the way normal women can too.
William and Kate look rock solid, but William needs to grow up sometimes .
Could Williams behaviour recently be the reason Harry seems to be distancing himself . He always seems so friendly with Kate .

Humpy84 · 01/05/2019 11:55

@Lookingelsewhere;sorry to hear about your sibling, that sounds like a harrowing ordeal.

News of Meghan’s makeup man that flew from US to London is that he has left for Marrakesh to do Jessica Alba’s makeup.

The DM seems to be teasing with one big hint as says almost sarcastically that he’ll be close to to fly back if megs has baby, it’s a 4 hour flight plus the one hour to Windsor so hardly that close or ideal.

Me thinks that the baby is here and has already had his or her first photo shoot. I think there’s a few people in the media that know but they have to shut it if they want any extra tidbits fed to them by palace pr.

Humpy84 · 01/05/2019 11:56

And permission to use the photographs that are taken by whoever the photographer is ! Don’t think they’ll just do Instagram as too many old royalists would miss out.

lookingelsewhere · 01/05/2019 11:57

@Humpy84 Thank you for your kindness. Yes, I still worry a lot - dysfunctional family dynamics, alcoholism, stuff that's been rumbling for years all blowing up. It's been tough, I must say. Thanks again.
