I certainly won't be signing it.
The person who has created that petition is bang out of order, not to put too finer point on it. The vote was to leave the EU. Who is she to try to get that decision over turned.
Now don't get me wrong.
I wouldn't mind if someone started a petition to ask Parliament for second referendum, but not to just get rid of Article 50 because she doesn't like it.

MrsTerryPratchett · 21/03/2019 06:48

The illegally obtained, non-binding, advisory vote was to leave the EU.

Fixed that for you.

JenniferJareau · 21/03/2019 06:50

YABU.

There is a Brexit board, please use it.

SovietKitsch · 21/03/2019 06:50

As is your democratic right Awwlookatmybabyspider

I swear some people, 8 days before the Second World War, would be saying, "there's a Germany Board, please use it".

RJnomore1 · 21/03/2019 06:53

Signed.

Bouchie · 21/03/2019 06:55

Signed. The good thing about democracy is that you can vote again, otherwise surely the referendum in the 1970s would hold forever and we would be a one party state.

RickOShay · 21/03/2019 06:56

I have signed. All fur coat and no knickers is Brexit.

RickOShay · 21/03/2019 06:56

Grin MrsTerry you are right!

Dumdedumdedum · 21/03/2019 07:02

Maybe we should all start a petition after every general election where the “wrong” party ends up in charge.

MrsTerryPratchett · 21/03/2019 07:07

If the GE was illegally funded and advisory, we probably should.

SovietKitsch · 21/03/2019 07:09

We’d nearly be at the next GE after this time MrsExpo democracy isn’t fixed and immutable

SovietKitsch · 21/03/2019 07:09

We’re also at a bloody crisis point, all options need to be considered

Signed.

There's a topic for this

EstrellaDamn · 21/03/2019 07:15

Signed. It's sadly pointless but what else is there to do?

Serin · 21/03/2019 07:16

I am totally for remaining in the EU but I dont see how this is democracy?
The vote was to leave.
It's a farce worthy of Fawlty Towers.

SovietKitsch · 21/03/2019 07:16

With 8 days to go, Sparklingbrook it needs to be in places where people who want to sign it, will see it. Now is not the time for specific boards - Brexit is not a specialist subject, it will affect us all.

I don’t think the petition will make any difference, but how is it not democratic to campaign for change?
