And there is no law that says this HAS to be on a specific board.

Signed. The misinformation bandied around in the media which led to the leave result makes me so angry. Ideal scenario would be another referendum asking if we want to leave the EU after discovering what a shit show it would really be.

Bots keep crashing it. There’s a bunch of guys on 4chan competing to create the most signatures.

The petition was mentioned in passing on the news on bbc2 a little while ago, with reference to a media blackout on the subject....

Keep persevering, it took about 40 minutes but finally I've managed to sign it. It seems to be going up by 500ish every 10 seconds. Was on 642k signatures.

It's down for maintenace again. It allowed me to get to the final stage - I received the email, but instead of confirming my signature, it told me it was 'under maintenance'.

It's not about getting the result you wanted. I would be fine with a second referendum even if it was won by those who want to leave. As at least now they would know the realities and implications of doing so. The first referendum was just a leave or remain vote, there were no details (and much of what was promised has now been found to be incorrect, impossible or illegal.)

The fact remains that people at the time of the vote were not aware of exactly what they were voting for.

They weren't eligible to vote! They had no say because at the time they were under the age of 18.

As I have said previously this is a disaster for our young people. They have received a very poor deal from this government (education, wages, benefits, etc) and now this.

You really haven't thought this through. Don't you think anything might have come to light over the last 3 years that might mean people want to change their vote? If Britain votes leave in a second referendum knowing what that means then certainly I would respect that. But the public were lied to, and now we are been denied a voice. Anyone with a sense should be furious!
