People have been removing body hair for thousands of years, it's not a new thing.

It may be more 'fashionable' now, but fashion goes in phases, so no doubt the full body hair look will revive at some point, much as it did in the 1970s.

I've done all manner of waxing/shaving/plucking to my pubic hair in my lifetime- it's my hair, I can style it however I like. I have to say though I found the Brazilian the most painful, though possibly that was down to the beautician that time.

I have to admit though I prefer men to be hairy Grin

I've had it done once. I had to pay down starkers while a whole team of therapists descended on me and all was done in less than 15 minutes. I did a whole leg as well as Hollywood was though. It was very clinical and professional.

Not had it done since because to be honest, I can think of better things to do with £30. But I do like the hairless feeling. I know body hair has a job to do but agree with those who say being hairless feels cleaner somehow.

I also find my armpits smell less when they are shaved. Armpit hair kind of retains the sweat and makes them smell. Does anyone else feel the same?

*pay = lay
*was = wax

Shorty swimsuits are your friend OP

With one of those you can avoid pain and swim anytime you get a fancy for it without worrying about hair removal.

I’m in the rare position of being able to come at this scenario from never choosing to practice hair removal and being to weigh up whether I prefer it.

Yes, me too. It was a bit discombobulatibg actually, seeing my minge in its full glory that way, but obviously that's because I just wasn't used to it. It did also feel weird not having any bum hair, like when I was washing etc

It was nice not having to even think about my bikini line for those few months, and I didn't mind being hairless, but not enough to want to part with my hard earned cash for someone to come at my entire muff and bum with hot wax on a regular basis!

thenightsky haha me too. Was about 5 days before the swelling went down enough for me to have anything resembling a directional flow rather than someone sticking their finger on the end of a hose!
