Booked for tomorrow & now I’m worried.

OP posts:

Apply numbing cream and take painkillers

Rubadublin · 27/02/2019 00:35

How do they do a portly and fleshy minge?

Femodene · 27/02/2019 00:38

You get someone to get up close with your perinium and anus to wax them, I’ve heard some women hold their buttocks open for easier access. Or you could use hair removal cream and like...NOT expose your anus to someone?

Quintella · 27/02/2019 00:40

Is exposing one's anus really that big a deal?

Rubadublin · 27/02/2019 00:41

In the circles I move in, yes.

oldowlgirl · 27/02/2019 00:54

The more I read, the more horrendous this sounds. I honestly don't understand why you'd want to be completely hairless Confused

Quintella · 27/02/2019 00:55

Hot wax doesn't hurt that much. It's strip wax that causes pain.

jcmayj · 27/02/2019 00:56

Does anyone know if you can get one during pregnancy?

Quintella · 27/02/2019 00:56

Oral sex feels better when you're hairless, in my opinion.

Threeminis · 27/02/2019 00:59

@jcmayj
Yep. Absolutely.

I had been going to a friend of a friend who had her own salon at home, to get my underarms & legs done. She was stunning looking (so slightly intimidating for us non stunning looking humans) but put you at ease as soon as she opened her mouth...friendly, northern accent that didn’t go with the look, down to earth and as funny as fuck. The stories I could tell. Anyway, she kept on at me about getting it all done and one day I said ok. I never looked back. It felt cleaner (especially when I had my period), no bothering about a bikini line in a swimsuit and most importantly it sex was even better.

She’s became a good friend and it still wasn’t awkward.

Very sadly she died, very, very quickly after getting a breast cancer diagnosis.

I feel strange about booking it with anyone else, plus I’m over weight and worry about young girls finding that unpleasant to deal with.

But I did it for ME because I prefer it. Nothing to do with male preferences or porn. I did it when a full bush was still the norm IRL & in ‘Mens mags’, before the internet was even a thing (yep, I’m THAT old 🤣)

Gone4Good · 27/02/2019 01:25

Why are women getting their pubic hair ripped out these days? Is it because men want/demand them to be bald or is it because they want to look like the women in the pornos?

Gone4Good · 27/02/2019 01:29

Okay, just seen the above post. Looks like other people wondered if it was to please men or porn.

Have to wonder though, are the baldies still going to be keeping themselves bald down-below when they are my age, mid-60's?

Quintella · 27/02/2019 01:34

Hasn't is started to fall out by mid 60s?

FiveShelties · 27/02/2019 01:37

Did anyone else cross their legs whilst reading this? I am such a coward, I could never do it - I thought plucking my eyebrows was enoughGrin

LittlePaintBox · 27/02/2019 01:46

Did anyone else cross their legs whilst reading this?

No - just feeling profoundly glad this wasn't a 'thing' when I was younger.

If I want to feel fresh and clean I'll have a shower!

IncrediblySadToo · 27/02/2019 02:00

Gone4Good

If I wanted to look like the women in pornos, I’d have to do a lot more before removing my pubic hair was the main focus 🤣😂🤣

Why do you say ‘getting the hair ripped out’? Is that how you refer to the removal of hair from underarms or legs?

If I found a salon/person I was happy to use now, I wouldn’t stop going simply because I hit 60 or whatever. I do it because I like the way it feels, it feels cleaner and sex feels better...why would I not what those things at 60?

As I said, nothing to do with men. Some men prefer it, some prefer a bush or a strip. They get what’s on offer 🤷🏻‍♀️ None have refused due to my choices about my body hair.

LittlePaintBox. There’s really no need. If I want to feel fresh and clean I'll have a shower!. I shower every day, usually twice it doesn’t mean it doesn’t feel cleaner between showers without hair on my food, especially when I have my period. There’s simply no need to be obnoxious when someone answers a question that’s been asked.

IncrediblySadToo · 27/02/2019 02:05

FiveShelties. Personally it’s less painful than when I got my eyebrows threaded (never, ever, again) or my shins waxed and I’d sooner have a lifetime of Hollywood’s than remove one nasal hair with tweezers. You only do that once! Well, I’ll only do that once, even if I end up being able to plait them! 🤣

HennyPennyHorror · 27/02/2019 02:18

Gone apparently a lot of young men do it too! Lots remove their chest and pubic hair. I think it's the unsesxiest look imaginable!

Gone4Good · 27/02/2019 02:32

Isn't waxing ripping/pulling it all out by the roots? I thought it was. I'm no expert at all, that's why I'm asking.

If the 'young salon girl's' find you 'unpleasant' to deal with because you are a bit overweight (your words, not mine), then they might find it unpleasant to deal with a grey bush. I would have thought they'd find it funny myself.

At my age and with my joint issues, my knees might not hold up while I stuck my bum in the air to have it waxed. I looked it up; a Hollywood is a bald bum hole area as well.

lol.

steff13 · 27/02/2019 03:17

You don't have to stick it up in the air, you lay on your side and lift your leg up.

finnmcool · 27/02/2019 03:25

Has anyone had a sugaring hair removal?
I've heard it's better than waxing.
Disclaimer: My Hollywood's start in April, ready for the summer.

Nothinglefttochoose · 27/02/2019 04:22

Not sure why any woman wants to look like a child. It’s weird. Leave some hair I say!

StarlightLady · 27/02/2019 04:34

Have you had any form of waxing before? I would suggest 2 paracetamol an hour before for the first time.

You will be a little uncomfortable when you leave but not in agony. The regrowth will also be thinner.

For those who ask why people do it, it’s personal choice of course. It is certInly a nicer feeling when it comes to the warmer weather to be hair free. There is also the little matter of increased sensitivity; the sensations are especially lovely! Be prepared to purr.

I would avoid sex the same day though.

StarlightLady · 27/02/2019 04:38

PS: For those who make the “look like a child” comments. An adult body does not resemble a child. The “ look like a child” comments could equally apply to underarm hair, leg hair and, indeed men shaving their face. Plus it is not what the OP was asking.
