To be annoyed at woman from DofE car crash?

Whatever we think about Prince Phillip and his driving, the accident happened and two ladies were unfortunately hurt.

However, I am watching This Morning and getting some level of rage about the clear compo grabbing attitude of this lady! Crashes happen every day and she has no need to be splashed across every news paper and programme because she wants an apology!

The Royal Family have even said they have tried to be in touch but not getting a response. What does she want?!

She annoyed me. I do believe she is out for money. When in a car crash does the other party ever contact the other party to say sorry? And when does a passenger get involved with the insirance claim. The whole thing was ridiculous!

I just made the mistake of watching the whole interview. Everything is me, me, me. And poor diddums the family liaison officer couldn’t spend time answering all her questions. Our FLO, who phoned me today and is lovely, us dealing with numerous other deaths. Not broken bloody wrists. We have spoken to them probably 5 or 6 times in total but understand they have other serious cases to deal with.

What a bloody narcissistic attention seeker she is.

Barreleyefish · 21/01/2019 20:30

In the light of Lulus story probably going to press do you think it might be best to get this thread pulled? Or will it not harm her case for it to stand?

Mybigmessyhair · 21/01/2019 20:32

SHe had a liaison officer for a broken wrist?

liaison officers esp those that deal with car crash deaths usually have family members who have died in tragic circumstances and they have to Sit and listen to someone whinging about a broken bloody wrist!
she should be thankful she is still alive

MorningsEleven · 21/01/2019 20:33

The thread needs pulled and someone needs to confirm the veracity of Lulu's chat.

LuluBellaBlue · 21/01/2019 20:33

@barreleyefish the police refused to prosecute last time, but maybe now if I have the Queens backing they might investigate 🤷🏽‍♀️😂

Nicknacky · 21/01/2019 20:34

I did read something from Norfolk police who did say she had a FLO only because of who he was and the media aspect. Don’t think she realises that’s not normal!

Theansweris · 21/01/2019 20:35

Fingers crossed for you, Lula

Sickoffamilydrama · 21/01/2019 20:36

@MorningsEleven I can confirm everything Lulu says look me up I've been posting for a while and why lie about something like that it would be bizarre to say the least!

greyspottedgoose · 21/01/2019 20:38

When my youngest was coming home from hospital (the day after being born) a taxi drove into the back of us, not only did the driver not apologise he didn't even ask if everyone was ok in the car, funnily enough I didn't make it into the papers Hmm

Barreleyefish · 21/01/2019 20:41

lulu I really hope justice is done this time.

PiggyPlumPie · 21/01/2019 20:42

Wishing you all the best lulu. I hope you have some real life support around you at the moment. Flowers

OnlyaMan · 21/01/2019 20:43

Whatever anyone might think about the Queen and her husband, The "Royal Household" is extremely competent, thorough and expensive.
If the other half of this accident, is saying she has not had proper communication from HRH Philip, I know who to believe.

I got rear ended by a taxi driver with my small daughter in the car. I was stationary, waiting to turn right. He didn't apologise, he shouted at me and then tried to lie to the insurance company and somehow make it my fault. I didn't go to the papers either!

NorksAreMessy · 21/01/2019 20:59

Anapurna · 21/01/2019 21:21

Best wishes, Lulu.

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 21/01/2019 21:26

She would have done better to maintain a dignified silence. As it is we now know that she drives that road often in the hope of seeing the RF so now she just sounds like a weird stalker.

PassTheGinPlease · 21/01/2019 21:34

Seriously, someone needs to pm the scandal
#NotEvenSorry

All jokes aside, HRH really did fuck up. He must have been going some as he flipped a big armoured car. That takes some doing. I'm a firm believer that our diving test system is flawed, you should have to take mandatory retests at fixed times-every ten years until 65, every 5 from then until 75, after that they should be every 2.5 years. Things change, and not everyone hands a licence in. That's not just for HRHs, although it's not like he would be isolated without it and couldn't get to bingo or the CoOp-sure he has drivers Grin

She did have rights to be miffed, and I think the press would've reacted differently say if a footballer had of been breaking the speed limit and spanked into a car, injuring two women and nearly injuring a baby.
Any accident is scary. Yes they should possibly have sent a card and HRH disappearing after 10 minutes isn't good. I do wonder if he was breathalised.

BUT the police told both parties not to speak to the press, obviously they are investigating and this could jeopardise that, as well as any claim made by her or her mate.
She really is firing off the patented DM Sad face gimme gimme cash vibes and one article in the press was enough. Her mate clearly sees her as a liability and quite right. I think she foresaw an invite to the palace but that's never going to happen.

I think the press should bugger off as she's clearly a few planks short and they're taking advantage.
No one bar the mate who has kept a dignified silence is coming off well here

Shallishanti123 · 21/01/2019 21:36

My dog just squeezed past me and bumped into me... no apology... I’m off to the daily mail!
