I watched it although in my defence it was before somebody had posted on here and the person who shared it in no way made it clear what it was. And having seen it I really dont think it can be classed as racist because there are definitely white cut outs as well. Of course as I have already said it is totally abhorrent, but given it appears to be a group of friends in a private garden I think no crime has been committed but I hope any employers see it and sack those involved.

I dont think it makes it any better because it isnt racist it is totally vile and disgusting but having seen it there are definitely white cut outs there so no I dont believe it was racist, unless they put them there to try and make it look not racist, but I wouldn't want to think they had enough brain to think up something like that. The people who did it are total scumbags and might be racist but the inclusion of white cut outs means it cant be classed as such.

What I meant was at least it hasn’t been merely days since the tragedy. I remember awful jokes post the twin towers, and the London bombings in 2005 that were incredibly tasteless and horrific, but they were not classed as being racist, despite people of many different ethnicities being involved.
People are stupid and naive, look at our own Prince Harry dressing up as a Nazi back in 2005, that was stupid and naive, but not racist. People are going to be vile regardless of colour or class.
This was an awful, tasteless incident.

A hate crime has been committed because this was an act that caused harassment, alarm or distress.

It's not going to be a POA offence from within a fenced garden, as far as I can see there is no crime here. (however I agree it fits the definition of a hate incident.)

Majority of faces are brown, there is one white face. They also make references to women in hijab.

@Antigon, I haven't heard the comments and I honestly didn't even register the flag, probably because we often go caravanning and the site we use tends to have loads of flags attached to vans, English, Welsh, Pirates all sorts. In that case I stand corrected.
