I hadn't realised it was a possibility - and I find flights boring, not scary
I might choose a 🐒 for entertainment though

How about you ? .... 🐸 🦆 🦉 🦇 🐢 🦔 ?

US woman removed from plane after boarding with 'emotional support' squirrel

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2018/oct/10/us-woman-flight-plane-emotional-support-squirrel

Frontier Airlines ... said the passenger had noted in her reservation that she was bringing an emotional support animal – but she did not indicate it was a squirrel.
...
The incident followed others where an “emotional support peacock”, Dexter,
was barred from boarding a flight with its owner earlier this year
and, of course, Pebbles, the emotional support hamster, which ended up flushed down a toilet. Shock

The name of the squirrel has not yet been released. Wink

A squirrel!! I would love that. My favourite animal is an elephant, but I suspect they won't allow that. So I'll have to settle for a panda that I can hug

Apocalyptichorsewoman · 10/10/2018 22:51

I would bring Laurel

Can I bring an emotional support human animal? It would save the price of a ticket?

ButAIBUtho · 10/10/2018 22:52

An old dog.
One that is fluffy, soft and smells nice. Or just smells like a clean dog, just one that doesn't smell yak.

IStandWithPosie · 10/10/2018 22:53

A squirrel? Shock

I would bring my big softie golden retriever boy. He’s the best emotional support there is.

Pissedoffdotcom · 10/10/2018 22:54

A giraffe. Okay it would have to be a baby one to fit, i will concede 🤔

travailtotravel · 10/10/2018 22:55

A giraffe would be an awesome assistance animal. Why haven't I thought of this before?!

Pissedoffdotcom · 10/10/2018 22:56

They are without hesitation my absolute favourite animal ever. They look so gentle & regal but jeez they can have a row with those necks!

TurtleCavalryIsSeriousShit · 10/10/2018 22:56

8Pissedoff they'll stick me an you in the back section for African animals (if I get to take my ele) Grin

TinselAngel · 10/10/2018 22:56

Labrador.

BigChocFrenzy · 10/10/2018 22:57

Nobody should choose a dolphin though:
apart from the slippery, flippery side - there was an OP in AIBU the other night who was really dolphinphobic

Yes! Our own section. Sounds blissful tbh, i'm a bit of a people hater

RJnomore1 · 10/10/2018 22:58

I'd like an emotional support pig please.

BigChocFrenzy · 10/10/2018 22:59

It would have to be organised so that noone's emotional support animal ate someone else's

  • that would rather defeat the purpose

Assuming you don’t mean a usual pet (like our adorable old Labradors) then a sloth....probably a baby sloth..... awwwwwww x 1000.

Sloths are cute! And pigs too. I love all animals really Blush

So far no one has picked a dangerous one so that's good. Our flight should go smoothly

fishfingersandketchup · 10/10/2018 23:06

OMG that baby sloth😍😍😍 I'd bring a kitten. To cuddle.

Glumglowworm · 10/10/2018 23:10

A hippopotamus.

(I have an somewhat unhealthy obsession with the song I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas)

BigChocFrenzy · 10/10/2018 23:12

I'm picturing all the different litter trays ...
All in something like the Tardis, which can expand to fill the needs of its passengers
... and has good ventilation and hair filters

With huge seats, so you can hug your chosen animal

catpooproblems · 10/10/2018 23:13

A chow chow dog

Longdistance · 10/10/2018 23:14

A rat or a mouse, so they can run off into the aircraft and chew the wires. Meh, I’m a grumpy fucker. A squirrel? ffs!

NotMyCircusMonkeys · 10/10/2018 23:14

I'd have 10 dogs because nobody would be sad if they had 10 dogs.

Runnynosehunny · 10/10/2018 23:15

This is hilarious. I have always wanted a baby elephant. However I have just remembered the Penguins of Madagascar and am thinking they would be great in a crisis.
