I hadn't realised it was a possibility - and I find flights boring, not scary
I might choose a 🐒 for entertainment though

How about you ? .... 🐸 🦆 🦉 🦇 🐢 🦔 ?

US woman removed from plane after boarding with 'emotional support' squirrel

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2018/oct/10/us-woman-flight-plane-emotional-support-squirrel

Frontier Airlines ... said the passenger had noted in her reservation that she was bringing an emotional support animal – but she did not indicate it was a squirrel.
...
The incident followed others where an “emotional support peacock”, Dexter,
was barred from boarding a flight with its owner earlier this year
and, of course, Pebbles, the emotional support hamster, which ended up flushed down a toilet. Shock

The name of the squirrel has not yet been released. Wink

My local zoo has some adorable red panda cubs. I choose one of them.

capybara - think they would be very calm and relaxing
or a red panda for cuteness
aye-aye for flight refusal and what -the-fuckery

Another vote for an emotional support pig.

MrsTommyBanks · 11/10/2018 01:00

Hi 5s @DollyDayScream

agnurse · 11/10/2018 01:01

In all seriousness I would probably bring our Biggie. Biggie is very quiet and well-behaved on a car ride so I can't see him being different on a plane. When we have taken him in the car on occasion we have actually taken him out of his pet carrier. He sits nicely on someone's lap.

A pig on a plane would be awesome.

steff13 · 11/10/2018 01:01

Sugar gliders are cute and pocket-sized, and they could fly in the faces of people who bug you.

user1andonly · 11/10/2018 01:07

I'd bring a guinea pig Grin

Best Animals Evah!

safariboot · 11/10/2018 01:12

My luggage. Yes it's an animal, it's made of Sapient Pearwood. Might look like fabric, that's just the paint. I know it's not moving, that's because it's timid around other people, OK! I can't fly without it so it needs to come in the cabin with me and equality law means it needs to fly free whatever the weight is.

MrsTommyBanks · 11/10/2018 01:13

In ever knew sugar gliders existed.

steff13 · 11/10/2018 01:17

In ever knew sugar gliders existed.

They're fairly common pets here. They're very adorable, but I don't know if they're great as pets, really. There's a guy who sells them at the flea market. They sleep in the pocket of his sweatshirt.

sparkling123 · 11/10/2018 02:07

A baby panda 😍

Since support animals supposedly fly free I'd have to say human. Of the husband variety.

thighofrelief · 11/10/2018 02:28

I'm going to bring a skunk and I'm going to get it drunk.

We are happy to fly alone [santa]

alwayscrashinginthesamecar1 · 11/10/2018 02:41

I'll bring my Emotional Support Wombat. So long as he gets his own seat, those buggers are heavy.

That wombat looks very placid & calming, but like a furry radiator on about 40C

A cassowary Grin

BigChocFrenzy · 11/10/2018 07:16

I'll have to Google a few of these animals !
Is a cassowary flesh, fish or fowl - or fictional ?

OP posts:
Smallinthesmoke · 11/10/2018 07:18

A cassowary would be brilliant, you could train it to disembowel annoying fellow passengers with one kick.
Plus it would look ace in the queue to board.

AuntBeastie · 11/10/2018 07:22

They are terrifying murder birds

BigChocFrenzy · 11/10/2018 07:25

Thanks, I forgot how dangerous some MNers are 😱
The first crocodile should have reminded me

A tiger 🐯

Mrsharrison · 11/10/2018 07:29

My friend's cockapoo. She's such a tart and would be flirting with the other passengers that I'd be distracted trying to rein her in.

mloo · 11/10/2018 07:30

I adore skunks. This is cuteness personified. What could go wrong?
