To think peeing in the shower is fine?

Dh thinks it's disgusting. I think it's fine.

The warm water makes me need a wee and I'm not going to get out, soak the floor, dry off and all that.

It's environmentally friendly as less toilet flushing

The water washes the wee away and it's only wee

I thought everyone did it occasionally.

Everyone pees in the shower, the bath, the sea and some dirty buggers do it in the pool, having a poo in these places however is NOT acceptable

WHAT ADULT PEES IN THE BATH.

Of course it’s fine. How couldn’t it be? There are a lot of weird people on MN

captainpantbeard · 19/08/2018 22:31

YA SOOOOO NBU

TotHappy · 19/08/2018 22:35

@Misericord, I try not to do it if I'm still enjoying my bath (although sometimes since child birth a bit will leak) but at the end, I pull the plug, crouch and wee, then get out. If I don't, it will just pour out involuntarily over the bath at when I do step out (this is also post child birth)

joystir59 · 19/08/2018 22:36

Our dog sometimes poos in the sea. We try hard to prevent it but aren't always successful.

AynRandTheObjectivist · 19/08/2018 22:53

Your dog won't be the only animal pooing in the sea.

sonlypuppyfat · 19/08/2018 22:59

I wee in the bath

lowtide · 19/08/2018 23:14

I love weeing in the bath 🛀

userxx · 20/08/2018 08:09

Peeing in the bath whilst you are sat in it washing?

sonlypuppyfat · 20/08/2018 11:27

I've always believed wee is sterile

meadowmeow · 20/08/2018 11:36

Wait... The pp who said that one must have a bizarrely wide vaginal opening to be able to douche are you serious??

Perhaps they think you shove the whole shower head up there 👆 Grin

runningkeenster · 20/08/2018 11:42

Yes I sometimes wee in the shower. Those of you who think it's disgusting, what do you do when you have your period? Or do you have such a light flow that you don't bleed when showering? My bath can look like a crime scene. But better in the bath than in my clothes! If blood is ok, why not wee?

Strugglingtodomybest · 20/08/2018 16:33

Thanks for replying Dowager

I'm not that poster, but if peeing in the shower isn't something you've ever done, can't you see that it just wouldn't be something that seems appealing...?

If it was something I'd never done, it would probably be because I'd never thought of doing it, but once I'd realised that I could do it and save water in the process then I'd probably think it was a great idea and why hadn't I thought of it sooner!

I mean, I get that everyone's different and we can all do or not do whatever we want providing it doesn't hurt others, but I'm really struggling to understand exactly why so many people see this as disgusting and vile. I don't really care, but this thread seems like an excellent opportunity to learn why other people think how they do. Iyswim?

TheDowagerCuntess · 20/08/2018 18:15

Your question has been answered upthread, @runningkeenster

Personally, l tend to leave my mooncup in on heavy days (no wet string). On lighter days I would'nt bleed anyway.

I can't imagine soaking in a nice bath - and either weeing or bleeding into it.

Both seem so deeply unappealing to me, that I can't get my head around why anyone would think it's a nice thing to do. Or more to the point, not get why others think it's grim.

But each to their own.

Gottagetmoving · 21/08/2018 09:24

I don't know how some of you can bear to have wee in your bladder or poo in your colon...I mean, you are carrying that 'disguting' stuff inside you!

Wee in the shower is washed away and I doubt anyone gets out of the shower with it dripping down their legs!

magpie64 · 21/08/2018 12:45

Several water companies have advocated this as a very good thing - it's entirely hygienic, and saves water. It's qualitatively different from some of the comparisons made here - no solid matter, and unless you have an infection, not many bacteria.

nicola890 · 21/08/2018 13:18

Golden showers anyone done it before.

Buxtonstill · 21/08/2018 15:16

You wash a baby in the bath after a poonami. Nobody thinks twice. It’s Piss, not plutonium. So does your DH thoroughly clean and dry his cock between having a wee and having a shower?

Millionairesshortbread1 · 21/08/2018 15:21

No, no, no makes the shower stink of wee.

ProfessorMoody · 21/08/2018 15:23
