To think peeing in the shower is fine?

Dh thinks it's disgusting. I think it's fine.

The warm water makes me need a wee and I'm not going to get out, soak the floor, dry off and all that.

It's environmentally friendly as less toilet flushing

The water washes the wee away and it's only wee

I thought everyone did it occasionally.

Bloody hell is this for real? Everyone pees in the shower, the bath, the sea and some dirty buggers do it in the pool

Brazen don't be so ridiculous the bathroom doesn't smell pissy because of peeing in the shower. That's more likely to be dribbles on the floor or a not properly cleaned toilet.

I think it’s fine. I wouldn’t do it if I was sharing a shower with dh obviously or in communal showers like swimming pools etc.
When you’re on your period the blood goes down the shower.... do the people who’ve written here to say wee in the shower is disgusting wear a tampon in the shower to ensure they don’t let a trickle of blood go down their leg into the shower!?

OP I'm with you. I pee in the shower! Shock horror. I wash myself in the shower afterwards. It's hardly like I'm pooping myself on the walk home from work is it?!

those who say its disgusting probably do it but just dont want to admit it, they want to appear holier than thou Grin

i read once that there’s more bacteria in tap water than urine.

Nowt wrong with it op, I have been known to pee in the shower if one is needed.

Don't understand how the poster said it makes it smell like an urinal?.. as the shower gel, haircare plus water is obvs going to help it go down the drain and also the scents will decent the pee..so the urnial smell is because they down clean there bathrooms to standard not because of pee down the shower ffs.

Nothing wrong with a shower pee.

No, everybody doesn't do it. Just have a pee before you get in the shower!!

I think peeing in the shower is gross. Peeing in the bath is even worse - you're literally sitting in your own piss.

Peeing in the shower is totally fine, I can’t see a single issue with it. I wouldn’t care at all if my guests did while they were staying!

Urine is sterile right? I wee in the shower all the time it just saves time and gets washed away..honestly people who say it’s like poo need to have a wee in the shower and then a poo and report back

I had a flatmate who used to do this, the upstairs would stink of piss while he was in the shower. It's disgusting.

Maybe I’m being really stupid, but should you not use a tampon when your in the shower? I’d look like I’d slaughtered an animal in there if I didn’t, but should you actually not, for a reason?

This morning, after a horrendous bout of bottom exploding due to IBS, I had to have a shower to ensure I was properly clean.

Poo may have been washed off whilst in said shower. Should I have stood in the loo and used to shower head attachment to ensure any remaining poo particles did not go into the shower?

whispers you do know there are poo particles on you even if you think you have wiped yourself clean..,. tiny tiny poo particles.. just clinging there, waiting to be washed away in the shower.... that's right ppl of mumsnet who think having a pee in the shower is just as bad as squeezing out a bum nugget... every time you shower or have a bath there will be tiny poo particles involved... mwahahahahahas
