Google it - calls for him to step down are literally everywhere. In pretty much every newspaper. Almost all the fucking time. Given considerably more air time than any Tory fuck ups or scandals.

It's fairly constant in thr media for calls for him to step down due to anti semitism, terrorist sympathy etc. And there has been for a long time.

He simply refuses to go, even when it's his own MPs calling for it

The daily mail are reporting there was a plaque for Black September members in the same graveyard. That doesn’t mean that he layed a wreath there.

There are pictures all over social media of him laying a wreath at the graves of the Black September members. And his story has changed each time the previous version is disproven.

I agree puzzled and pissed off, that it’s difficult to find out facts - all I can gather from the Daily Mail article is speculation.

If he really didn't honour the killers why not simply say so - unless he's worried that something else might come out to prove he did?

Are you absolutely sure sam76? I thought the memorials for the 1985 bombing of the PLO and that for Black September were in different parts of the cemetary and that he claims it's the first he was honouring?

Some of the reporting of this story references an article Corbyn wrote for the Morning Star about the incident. He says that 'wreaths were laid at the graves of those who died on that day and on the graves of others killed by Mossad agents in Paris in 1991'. That seems to be a reference to a Mossad assassination operation in Paris in 1992 (not '91), when a man thought by the Israelis to be connected to the Munich atrocity was killed. He is now saying that yes he was there but he doesn't think he was involved in the wreath laying for the possible terrorist - not exactly the world's strongest denial. And that kind of half-arsed obfuscation doesn't look too good when pictures like this are all over the news. The man is a complete embarrassment, but the Corbyn cult members are never going to accept it - which is shit for the rest of us in the Labour party because it means that the next likely PM is Boris fucking Johnson.

So Labour wanted someone with principles and got someone.

Oh do try not to be absurd. He’s clearly not an anti-Semite. He has grave concerns about Israel: any right-thinking person should. He’s done a good job as an MP and been returned to the N Islington seat at every GE since ‘83. He advocated sitting down with terrorists for years before Clinton and Blair and their ilk were lauded for suggesting it. The right-wing press desperately trying to unseat him is transparent and being pathetic. Whether he’d be any good as a PM - who knows? He’s certainly better than anything the Tory party has to offer right now. It’s literally only Ken Clarke and Soubry who are worth a damn, these days. Shame.

For those who are wondering why the Mossad was knocking people off at the time, it is worth mentioning that Western countries often released suspected terrorists, because the groups threatened to hijack planes, or did hijack them and demanded that the prisoners be released. So I doubt anyone served time for the Munich massacre, which is why the Israelis decided to take action.

Why are people wasting their time talking about Corbyn ( there's nothing new, he's supported self-determination for Palestine, and other places for years,) when Brexit is looming and we don't have a plan?

Corbyn himself is a Leaver, and doesn't seem to have any useful ideas to add to the debate. Let's focus on what can be done or the shit is going to hit the fan in the very near future.

Try this article. He was laying a wreath at the graves of the terrorists involved in the Munich massacre. Weird how he keeps insisting he's there for peace and dialogue and when actually he's honouring terrorists. If there were no issue with this action - why isn't he being honest? Why is he fudging it with 'I laid a wreath but I wasn't involved'?

Lets focus on getting the travesty that is May out, and Hunt, and Trump, and then maybe we can look at literally everyone else in the world as a much lower priority.

The anti-Corbyn campaign is pretty obvious. I'm not a major fan of his, but he's clearly being hounded with the media trying to back him into a corner.

There is very little genuine political news at the moment - because our media are hell-bent on scandal and subterfuge. Boris Johnson's antics and Corbyn's persuasions are easy fallbacks for the media.

It's staggering when one of the biggest changes in the UK's recent history is taking place, and our relationship with Europe is a critical one.
Yes, it's covered by the media, but with very little depth to it - arguably because our strategy appears to have very little depth to it too. We won't be privy to any mastermind strategy of course, but I'll hedge my bets on chaos and confusion behind the scenes.

But back to Corbyn. I think he's done tremendously well to avoid any real crap sticking - perhaps because he's not particularly guilty of much wrongdoing.
