notstamping · 27/07/2018 15:43

Wish it was raining here. Angry I'm melting currently. Been trying to load the dishwasher all day but too hot to move. Sad

LalaLeona · 27/07/2018 15:44

Still not over to London I will be out there dancing and singing in it when it does arrive!

3BriansWithNoShirt · 27/07/2018 15:44

In S Yorks and the sky is greying.... come on you bastardAngry

LakieLady · 27/07/2018 15:44

Send it eastwards please ... but not until I've got my washing in.

Blostma · 27/07/2018 15:44

We've been promised "Light rains and a gentle breeze". No sign of either yet, and it is still 31degrees. Sad

McPeppaMcYumPig · 27/07/2018 15:44

I hope it rains for you all soon ThanksI'm over excited cause this heat has been playing havoc with illness so it's a nice breather. That and dealing with a sweaty 8 month old in a top floor flat !

I know we need rain -and I’m not i the South east. Where you need it more - but I’d prefer it to only do it in the night time and keep this lovely sunny weather in the day so I can enjoy being outside.

funnylittlefloozie · 27/07/2018 15:45

It isn't frigging raining in Bedfordshire! BBC Weather keeps tempting me with little raindrop icons, and then changing them to more sodding sun.

Jackreacherswife · 27/07/2018 15:45

Please god let it rain in Preston, 28degrees and this pasty northern lass is melting. It's so frickin humid

edwinbear · 27/07/2018 15:45

Please don’t let it rain in London until my washing is dry.....

jaseyraex · 27/07/2018 15:45

There's been humongous rain clouds above me all afternoon but they're seemingly refusing to actually drop the rain!

BillThePony · 27/07/2018 15:46

It rained here in SE London, for about a minute!

McPeppaMcYumPig · 27/07/2018 15:46

I've just seen a neighbour hurriedly bringing in washing... but they didn't look angry ? Almost relishing it..what a time to be alive Grin

Not yet in London.......I'm checking the forecast like a maniac.

Kids and I adore thunder storms, and they keep being forecast and then disappear. Sad

Eemamc · 27/07/2018 15:49

I’ve been checking the forecast so frequently. So desperate for it just to be a few degrees cooler. Rain sounds like heaven.

KateMcD451 · 27/07/2018 15:49

Ooh please send it over to Dorset, my garden is just hay and twigs Grin

TotHappy · 27/07/2018 15:49

GrinGrin Cornwall... It was spitting yesterday evening and suddenly started hammering it down at 2. So refreshing. I came downstairs to find my daughter (2) standing outside beaming and shouting 'Rain! Rain, mummy, rain!'

But... My new patio set has JUST been delivered. We've had nowhere to sit outside in the longest hot streak of my lifetime. And now its over.

Bluelady · 27/07/2018 15:49

It rained for about five minutes here yesterday - and the sun shone throughout.

Saucery · 27/07/2018 15:50

It’s been heading this way but veering off. I have high hopes for this evening and I shall DANCE in it.

McPeppaMcYumPig · 27/07/2018 15:52

It has stopped BUT has left a very cool breeze and at least the grass has had a good drink 😊 maybe I cursed it by getting excited so soon...hoping it comes back ! Wishing everyone rain soon !

Should I bring in the cushions for the first time this summer or will that send the rain away? Please advise.

NorthenderNamechanger · 27/07/2018 15:54

It's throwing it down and thundering here. I'm sitting by the door in my conservatory and it is heavenly 😍
