Bright sunshine here in Suffolk after hours of rain last night. Gorgeous cool strong breeze blowing - all the windows open to clear all the stale hot air out of the house. So refreshing Grin.

borntobequiet · 28/07/2018 15:36

Thunder and tipping down with rain in S Worcs. Gazebo has blown down and I had stupidly just put my washing out...
After all the dry weather the roof timbers will have dried out and shrunk so waiting for the drips.

TerfsUp · 28/07/2018 15:43

Half-hearted, desultory rain here.

Really. It shouldn't even bother it's so half-arsed.

TerfsUp · 28/07/2018 15:46

And stop boasting all you with thunder and lightning. I love a good lightning storm.

It's just got even more humid and sticky here, to add insult to injury.

Thinkingofausername1 · 28/07/2018 15:49

Yes. I'm very happy, especially with the temperature gone down today. Will be celebrating with a glass of rose later WineWink

TerfsUp · 28/07/2018 15:51

Oh, fer cryin' out loud. It sprinkled for approximately 3.8 seconds and stopped. We've had just enough rain to increase the humidity 100%.

PuppyMonkey · 28/07/2018 16:18

Delighted to say it’s pissing it down where I live now and I was out in town earlier and felt cold in what I was wearing.Grin

InterstellarSleepingElla · 28/07/2018 16:31

We have just had thunder, lightning, rain, the wind had been picking up and we have even had some hailstone!

There's definitely a chill in the air, the thermostat is reading 23.5 though in my lounge.

Deadringer · 28/07/2018 16:31

Lashing in Dublin after a thunderous night. We have been wishing for rain, but did it have to come this bloody weekend. There are two amazing outdoor events on nearby, they only happen once a year and we have been so looking forward to them, they are going to be an absolute wash out. Raging.Angry

WinterBabyIsComing · 28/07/2018 16:34

Just driven through torrential rain and forked lightening o the way go S.Wales. Outside temp dropped to 12° at one point.

InterstellarSleepingElla · 28/07/2018 16:37

@WinterBabyIsComing jealous yours was fork lightning ours was just bog standard sheet (still awesome but doesn't even come close to fork lightning!)

NoWordForFluffy · 28/07/2018 17:52

We have just had a mad 5 - 10 minutes of rain with thunder, torrential! And it hailed earlier.

I rescued our washing just before it got drowned!

It's sunny again now, mind.

OctaviaOctober · 28/07/2018 19:31

It's been blustery all day here, humidity gone Smile

And I have taken proud possession of a £229 desk fan. Not so Smile

(By the way if anyone else considers one for lack of any other options, it really doesn't seem worth the money at all. Our old £39 tower fan did the same job.)

McPeppaMcYumPig · 28/07/2018 20:45

I actually worse clothes in my flat today which is a first! I even went out and didn't get sweaty... it's the little things 😂
