@3Brians - I'm in S Yorks too, we've had some rain, so I'll put that down to your rain dance. Thank you.

wagil · 27/07/2018 16:14

Spitted for 5 minutes in Wimbledon, all dry now. The excitement made me giddy, now deflated.

Myusernameismud · 27/07/2018 16:15

I've had a stonking headache for about 3 hours so I know thunder is on the way, about 10 mins ago it started getting dark and breezy. I give it 1-2 hours before we get some. SE here.

Samcro · 27/07/2018 16:15

ooh it raining again

LarkDescending · 27/07/2018 16:15

Just had the first crack of thunder here in North London. The big grey cloud has yet to yield a raindrop though.

HopeNovember2017 · 27/07/2018 16:15

Its actually tipping it down in London now! Grin

DontCallMeCharlotte · 27/07/2018 16:15

We had about a minute of rain just now (Surrey) but I'm gutted it's going to be cloudy for the eclipse tonight after all the lovely moonlit nights we've been having Sad

Myusernameismud · 27/07/2018 16:16

Oooh my DMum has literally just text to say the rain has arrived in South East London. I'm jealous, but hopeful its coming our way. I need this headache to do one.

Yura · 27/07/2018 16:16

Rain in london (clapham)!

M00nUnit · 27/07/2018 16:17

Now chucking it down in London (City)!

Blushah · 27/07/2018 16:18

Yes, it's ironic about the eclipse, isn't it??

Porcelaincup · 27/07/2018 16:18

West London.....still nothing.

MaureenMLove · 27/07/2018 16:19

Bugger, Storm. I'm South. Can't see much blue sky anymore. That's a good sign I guess.

MissusGeneHunt · 27/07/2018 16:19

Send your London rain to sweltering sweaty sunny Suffolk!!! Please!!!!

Piggywaspushed · 27/07/2018 16:19

This will it/ won't it is driving me mad as DH consults very weather app known to humanity which all say different things and so has been rendered incapable of making a decision as to whether to go to a cricket 20:20 in Northampton tonight. And then tries to force me to amke the decision instead.

Can MN adjudicate for me??

LarkDescending · 27/07/2018 16:19

Here we go - proper tropical rain in north London and people running down the road yelling after getting caught in it.

tapdancingmum · 27/07/2018 16:20

Now raining and I'm sat outside in my bikini.

SomethingNastyInTheBallPool · 27/07/2018 16:20

Raaaaiiiinnn! in North London.

MaureenMLove · 27/07/2018 16:20

Oh, only 9 miles from Central London. It's coming!, it's coming! Grin

flushingfreda · 27/07/2018 16:20

Very heavy rain and hailing golf balls here in north norfolk. Bliss

Storm4star · 27/07/2018 16:20

Yes!!!! Rain has arrived in North London. Looks like a decent downpour too.

edwinbear · 27/07/2018 16:21

SE London (Blackheath) thunder, dark clouds but no rain yet Sad

SomethingNastyInTheBallPool · 27/07/2018 16:21

I can smell petrichor already.

Cheesymonster · 27/07/2018 16:22

Seconding the wish for rain in Suffolk, it's still 32 deg here
