What MNisms irrationally annoy you?

I know IABU to complain about something so petty but I don't care. Come and share your trivial mumsnet annoyances! What phrases / abbreviations / MN colloquialisms drive you crazy? I'll start:

1. Any time anyone uses the phrases 'boobing', 'boobed' etc when referring breastfeeding. Not only does this give me a mental image of a clown squirting milk from a comedy flower in their lapel, it also has a kind of juvenile, jolly-hockeysticks false cheer that makes me want to die.

1. Pg as an abbreviation of pregnant. No idea why I hate this. Maybe because it doesn't really resemble the full word? Irrationally despise it.

1. 'Little one' instead of baby or child. Too twee to be allowed. V similar to the phrase 'our little family', usually used when someone has a new baby and wants the equivalent of a papal enclave to keep friends and family at arms length. Absolutely loathesome because I am a grumpy and unreasonable cow

You beat me to it, it really pisses me off!

Loads. For some reason I find the shared idiom on internet forums really really annoying. I have no idea why.

Oh and "fast forward to now" and "red flags"

I think ducks in a row is especially annoying because it's a phrase people tend to chuck at women in desperate circumstances but it is literally meaningless. It's a facade with no actual advice behind it! Drives me bonkers.

When anyone suggests Balonz for the name of a baby.

The variations of get a grip. " You need to go to the grip shop" " I have a spare grip for you" etc.

Also the words narssacist and abuse are thrown about far too much.

Anyone that starts a post with 'so......' or ends it with 'discuss'.

‘Just that really...’ aargh! Leave it out and just ask the question.

Also, some of the expressions such as 'reverse' - what IS a reverse, please? I admit I might not object to it once I actually know what it means.

Totally agree about 'narcissist' and more generally just how quick some people are to make diagnoses of serious psychiatric disorders, mental illnesses, ASD, SEN etc etc based on nothing more than a few lines from the OP!

"Boobing", "Boob to sleep", "Boob blah blah" I hate loathe and detest because it comes across as so up your own arse. You're feeding your baby, have a bloody medal. We do not need to know your method.
