So can't sleep and watching naked attraction (please do judge me, I deserve it)
Are completely bare foofs a thing now? Having had a nasty experience of an ingrown hair from shaving bikini line (which required anti-biotics) why go through that? Nevermind the faff. Who want's an evening shadow on their lady bits?
All for a bit of pruning, but uprooting?

This thread has got me thinking. When, as happens to many women, the pubic hair thins with age, are the hairy ones sad and the depilators pleased?

It can be parted yes... but when actually having sex... are we meant to use tiny hair slides to keep it out of the way? 😂😂

Im 45 and mine are showing no signs of thinning yet. Maybe its my Italian heritage Thick dark hair. No grey ones either.

Unlike the hair on my head which has to be coloured back to dark brown.

First two paragraphs of the article.

I'm 34 and dating and haven't had any complaints Grin but I have hidradenitis supprativa like another poster, and there's no way I'm waxing. I get enough painful abscesses without adding ingrown hairs/wax into the mix!

DH is 68 (23 years my senior) and it has never even been on his radar

Mine is younger than you and it's never been on his either. He would be Confused if I suddenly became bald no more or less.

I read a few of these threads over the years and you always get the odd "I just asked my dp/dh what he thinks about pubic hair removal and he thinks it's weird/gross/not sexy etc.."

No man, when asked by his partner who doesn't shave is going to say "actually darling I'm need as keen on your hairy fanjo, is it ok if you shave a bit.." The bloke would fear his sex life would take a hike! Grin

To find out what they really think would be to shave a landing strip down there and keep it for a few weeks. Then ask him if he would prefer you to grow a full bush back.. That's when "all of a sudden " he might say oh well actually I've "gotten used" to that now etc etc Grin

Like I said up thread, I was the first shaved partner my dp has had as his ex wife had a full bush (to which he never had a problem with.) When I asked if he'd prefer it if I had one he said "oh no I really like it like that now" and wouldn't want me to grow a full bush (not that I would anyway because I wouldn't like it.)

But no man who wants to keep his sex life is going to say when asked "yes darling I would prefer it if you shaved!" Grin If they watch porn then are more than likely having a wank over shaved fanjos anyway!

@sickofsitting My DH doesn't watch porn and by the way that whole post you just wrote was ridiculous. You just confirmed what you were saying about what I said by saying it about your own DP who also would not say the wrong thing !

I'm in my 60s and yes it has thinned a lot and that comment you've just made... Hmm. I'm the sort of person who embraces my age, wrinkles and all, and that includes whatever happens to my pubic hair. Happy to be alive and healthy to be honest, as anyone with any sense would be... I don't think thinning pubic hair enters my head!

I do wonder how I managed to have sex in my teens and 20's given how gross it appears to some on here! I did manage lots and NO ONE removed pubic hair, absolutely no one.

If my dp really hated a shaved fanjo he would have said very early on and could have chosen to not continue. The compliments he has said since though in comparison to a full bush he is used to suggest he likes it! Men who are only used to a full bush aren't going to say "can you shave " with fear of looking like a perv/you thinking he wants a porn star/he wants a little girl."

You're dh probably doesn't like porn and loves a full bush 🤷🏼‍♀️ Or he might love porn and watch shaved fanjos have sex in secret? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Statements like my dh doesn't watch porn and he doesn't like shaved privates because he "told me" they are weird is amusing at best and naive at worst!

Not all men are the same of course but don't be too sure.. Grin

You see... it's views like yours that are so irritating sitting. You are saying that men that prefer shaved have a legitimate preference. But those that prefer a bush are either repressed, watch porn in secret and actually probably haven't had a real woman before, because they are bound to prefer shaved. They honestly might not like the look of a bald pubic area... seriously!!

Challenging views like yours is the only reason I'm still on this thread.
