@Penguin34 can I ask a question..? I used to get a Brazilian from one salon pretty regularly and I kept my thong on, just moving aside as needed. Figured this was normal procedure. Then while travelling I went to a new salon and she ordered pants off! I was a bit surprised but was OK with it, I mean she didn't strike me as a creep or anything..
What's the norm? Do you usually get women to take them off for a Hollywood or just pull aside to preserve what's left of their modesty?
@Hiphopfrog
With all the Beautician's I know it's the norm to do with no knickers, honestly vaginas are like elbows to us and we probably wouldn't notice if you walked in naked from the waste down!
Depends where the beautician trained and what they find quickest and easiest because you want a quick thorough wax!
They don't teach intimate Waxing in your normal nvq or itec beauty therapy course so you need to do a separate course.
Firstly I did a generic intimate waxing course and they teach using a paper thong. A year or so later I refrained with lycon and they teach knickers off.
I find it much much easier and quicker with no knicks, I want your consult, undressed, waxed, aftercare, dressed, rebooked, paid and out the door within the 30 min slot.
I also book back to back so I want the room ready for the next client by the end of that 30 min (maybe time for a drink as well)
Also those paper things hide nothing, they are pushed out the way so you might as well be naked or they get in my way, I want to get all the hairs from everywhere including inside the labia and bum, much easier without.
I would think it's more awkward to keep asking you to move your knickers this way or that than for you to just lie back and chat to me while I get on with it.
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING WITH INTIMATE WAXING IS YOUR THERAPIST DOES NOT DOUBLE DIP AND WEARS GLOVES .
Hope this helps xx
