Hairless foofs

Ginismyfriendx · 06/07/2018 01:02

So can't sleep and watching naked attraction (please do judge me, I deserve it)
Are completely bare foofs a thing now? Having had a nasty experience of an ingrown hair from shaving bikini line (which required anti-biotics) why go through that? Nevermind the faff. Who want's an evening shadow on their lady bits?
All for a bit of pruning, but uprooting?

I frequently wish I had not encouraged my children to be so open with me..........

SoddingUnicorns · 06/07/2018 15:13

Aye but the flip side being that she felt able to come to you with that. As unpleasant as it must have been to hear as her Mum, the fact you are the kind of Mum she can talk to is pretty awesome.

I hope when mine are older they can come to me in the same way (although I may need ear bleach for some of it).

VanGoghsLeftEar · 06/07/2018 15:15

Dh trims his PH. Yup. His preference. He doesn't care what I do to mine, though I get itchy if it gets too long.

Regarding beards: dh has a full beard. He grew it to cover some eczema on his face. He's considering shaving it off but won't do it until winter when his tan has faded (He works outdoors). I didn't like it at first, very itchy, but now I'm used to it. I suppose body hair management is just that, habit/getting used to it. Do beards serve a function though? I don't see it. Does pubic hair? Imo yes, but it's a preference.

When did it become less about 'women's rights' and all about 'women's compliance'? And it's not men doing this, it's women. That makes me unspeakably sad.

I don't pick up useful information on these threads, I feel talked at, hectored. So it goes on. Thread after thread.

It really isn't the hairless women dictating or insulting; it's most definitely the other way around. Do what you like, I really don't care. I won't be asking questions because you believe that I should, I'll ask questions that I want to know the answers to and frankly, this thread isn't up to it. I'm not going to 'comply'.

MyBreadIsEggy · 06/07/2018 15:19

VanGogh so does my DH - it would appear men don’t face the same uproar when they choose to do a bit of pube admin Confused

BertrandRussell · 06/07/2018 15:25

"I don't pick up useful information on these threads, I feel talked at, hectored. So it goes on. Thread after thread"
I'm sorry you feel that way. I have to say I don't much care for being told that having hair is dirty, lazy and unhygienic either.

JacquesHammer · 06/07/2018 15:28

I can appreciate that. And i would of course never even think that.

However it is important that people don’t extrapolate. I prefer periods now I’m hairless. It is easier FOR ME. That shouldn’t be taken to mean I believe women who don’t remove hair are unclean.

@JacquesHammer but you weren’t one of the women telling other women they are dirty, smelly, unhygienic or whatever.

There are posters on both sides of the debate who have gone out of their way to make others feel crappy, and that’s not on.

user09876543211234567890 · 06/07/2018 15:36

BertrandRussell that's so utterly depressing. I definitely agree that I think that would have been very unlikely pre Internet porn.

LemonysSnicket · 06/07/2018 15:40

It's been a thing since the 90s... literally 30 years. Where have you been?

BertrandRussell · 06/07/2018 15:40

"now huge arses are very much sort after"

If you think that I suspect you haven't talked to a teenage girl recently......

JacquesHammer · 06/07/2018 15:42

@SoddingUnicorns

That was kind of my point really. Hasn’t happened on this thread (yet) but there are various posters who will claim that you’re using your own experiences to imply other women are wrong. Which of course isn’t helpful.

MiggledyHiggins · 06/07/2018 15:42

I've never had any major waxing down there. What actually happens?
Do you have to sit there with no pants on at all? How do they get to the hair that grows underneath?!

You are bare from the waist down and legs out like you would for a smear more or less. Then for the bum, onto your side, knees up to chest and lift your uppermost buttock out of the way. So yes, a bit embarrassing I suppose.Grin

I get it done occasionally, mainly because I would be too lazy to keep up a daily shaving routine and also because I'm really bad at shaving and have cut myself on occasion. I don't bother during the winter usually but summer time when I'm likely to be in a swimming costume I want to just put it on and not worry about stuff poking out the sides.

I find sex more sensitive with it off, which I like. DP has no preference as to whether I'm as bald as anything or look like I'm smuggling a small kitten in my pants - and if he was a man who had a strong preference either way and tried to influence me, he wouldn't be a DP for long.

I don't believe it's more hygienic, but I do know that a couple of days where my tampon leaked, I was sporting a decent growth and couldn't shower or had no wipes and I did feel manky until I got home because wet toilet paper to clean off dried in blood is useless.

SoddingUnicorns · 06/07/2018 15:43

@JacquesHammer ah ok, sorry for the crossed wires.

NotASingleFuckToGive · 06/07/2018 15:47

My children are older-one adult and one nearly there. Porn has been part of their lives-dd tells me that she was dumped for saying no to anal the first time she went to bed with one man. He just got dressed and left. I am absolutely sure that would not have happened pre Internet porn.

At my DD's school earlier this year, a girl sent nearly nude pics to her boyfriend in the same year, which he then showed to a few of his friends. The details of the pictures made their way around the school gossip mill in the space of an afternoon.

Ignoring the massive issue that these pictures are illegal anyway (it was dealt with officially), what happened was horrendous. The girl in the photographs was called a whore, a slag, and horrendously bullied by both male and female in her year for being dirty, skanky and disgusting, making reference of her still having some pubic hair, or as they referred to it, a "massive hairy fanny".
The boy, conversely, was subject to derision by his peers for being "desperate" and "how could you even go near that". He split up with her due to his mates laughing at him for her body hair, and she left to attend a different school. This is Year 10 btw, so 14 and 15 year olds.

SoddingUnicorns · 06/07/2018 15:48

@NotASingleFuckToGive it’s not often I’m lost for words, but that’s done it.

BertrandRussell · 06/07/2018 15:51

I wish I could say I was surprised......Sad

Roussette · 06/07/2018 15:52

God I'm so glad my DDs are adults now. They were not subjected to this, I believe it was just starting but they're their own people and wouldn't feel pressurised. I think at the teen stage they both trimmed up a bit but never felt the necessity to go hairless because of peer pressure.

I veet the lot when I'm going on holiday to avoid stray hairs. Can't be arsed to shave lines or patterns and don't want to get waxed so I just veet the lot. This is specifically not done for dp as I miss patches etc and it probably looks worse than it would naturally. I just don't want hairs poking out the side of my cossie and I'm really fucking lazy haha

NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking · 06/07/2018 15:59

But whyyyyy??? Your pubes smell of your pheromones which are designed specifically to turn your partner on! It’s a massive part of sexual attraction and arousal. I’m not saying you can’t have great sex if you’re both hairless but how can it be ‘better’ when you are missing a pretty key component?

Psychologically, for me, it’s better. I’m not saying that’s a fact across the board.. but for me to really enjoy myself, I need to be hair free. I do think it feels physically better too... there is no hair interupting the physical sensations.. 🤷🏻‍♀️

My partner trims, but isn’t hairless... and although his grooming doesn’t alter what I do, he is likely to get s much longer oral experience from me if he’s trimmed... rogue hairs (for me) are a pretty big turn off.

Lying Witch.

I always keep it hair free down there. Shave mostly but full wax when I can be bothered to regrow the hair long enough to be waxed (should just get back into the wax routine but oh well!).

I think hair down there, regardless of whether it is more hygienic or not, is gross. Nothing worse than going into public toliet and seeing a long pubic hair on the toliet seat. The thought of having spiders legs poking out of my underwear is the thing of nightmares.

If you dont remove it what do you do when you go on holiday? Take the spiders along for the ride?

I rest my case.

SoddingUnicorns · 06/07/2018 16:03

You're focusing on what they said about her body hair not why on earth girls are putting themselves in these situations

Interestingly you don’t comment on the boy sharing it with his mates or them all turning on the girl?

Yes, she was silly and naive but he was deliberately cruel. I know which I’d be angrier with.
