It's hot. I want to wear a skirt. In colder weather I always wear tights but when it's this hot wearing tights is horrible! Even at my thinnest (9st) I have never achieved a thigh gap. By the end of the day I have sore red raw patches on my inner thighs where they rub. How can I fix this? The only alternative is to wear leggings under a maxi or trousers Hmm. Surely I am not the only uncomfortable person ?

Big Bloomers didn't work for me. I'm an 18 and bought 18-22. They just slipped down meaning the bit at the tops still rubbed. Not good.

I've bought some sloggis to try this summer and will order some bandalettes as they sound like they'll work with the right pants too!

I wear Primark cycle shorts under any dress or skirt. I've tried an anti chsffing gel/cream and it was rubbish. Plus, with the shorts it doesn't matter if a sudden gush of wind catches your dress.

Anti chafing shorts from eBay are the dream! Either that or cut your tights into shorts for the summer to wear under dresses

I use lanacane anti chafing gel, can get it in Sainsbury's as well as Boots. I also use it as a primer under my make up.
