AIBU?

Aibu to ask how you deal with thigh rub?

It's hot. I want to wear a skirt. In colder weather I always wear tights but when it's this hot wearing tights is horrible! Even at my thinnest (9st) I have never achieved a thigh gap. By the end of the day I have sore red raw patches on my inner thighs where they rub. How can I fix this? The only alternative is to wear leggings under a maxi or trousers Hmm. Surely I am not the only uncomfortable person ?

Bandalettes! Amazing and don't add an extra layer like shorts. Buy from the US website rather than Amazon as it's cheaper and the customer service is fab.

If you use a balm, does that mean you have greasy thighs all day?

Lanacane, or essentially the same but cheaper a product called Below the Belt Fresh and Dry Balls (I kid you not), both from Amazon. A home made remedy that works very, very well is coconut oil mixed with cornflour, around the same amounts of both. Mix them together well and keep in a pot. Will last for ages and very effective.

Sloggi long pants have changed my life. I never wear a skirt without them now (and I sometimes even wear them under trousers, they’re so comfy). Am totally evangelical about them, they’ve changed my life!

Mitchm roll on. Annoying waiting for it to dry but honestly it has worked better than anything else for me- way outperformed the lanacane anti chafing stuff. I had chafing when I was very slim and I have chafing now I am rather tubby- that's just the shape of my legs! The first time I realised Mitchum actually worked I was overjoyed.

Brilliant suggestions.

Can I add that the only way I get thigh gap is cycling. Smile

It’s a huge problem though so suprued there’s no definitive treatment
