She knows shes wrong. Thats why she's trying to spin it so much.

LML83 · 11/04/2018 19:25

this is the thread I have been waiting for Grin

DullAndOld · 11/04/2018 19:25

honestly I have read your original thread (well the first bit obvs, not 39 pages) and she sounds like a loon.
Do not even text back, that will enrage her.

GeekyWombat · 11/04/2018 19:27

If it were me I’d want to reply “I don’t know, are we?” but don’t give her the satisfaction. Silence and zen like calm.

Arcticwonder · 11/04/2018 19:30

I thought she had been feeding the grapevine the story that you weren’t attending. I wouldn’t respond - she’s trying to find out if you’re attending - let her sweat.

WeirdyMcBeardy · 11/04/2018 19:31

What! After she's been telling others that you aren't going!

Seriousl, this woman needs a "oh go fuck yourself" response. She really isn't taking the hint.

madeyemoodysmum · 11/04/2018 19:32

Just read first post. What a loon

HolyMountain · 11/04/2018 19:34

I know you will:

Ignore
Ignore
Ignore .

scatteredglitter · 11/04/2018 19:34

Ignore her

Failingat40 · 11/04/2018 19:34

You have 3 options if I were you;

1). Ignore
2). Reply '??'
3). Reply 'Please delete my number, don't contact me again'

She's a raving loon. Ignore her tomorrow and don't dare let her think she can wrestle her way back to being friends with you now.

She's only interested in making sure she doesn't end up completely friendless as she knows you have influence over others much more than she does.

Excellent thread title.

ChasedByBees · 11/04/2018 19:37

What a patronising message. Just keep your distance from her OP.

reply 'delete this number' - so satisfying ......

Dobby1sAFreeElf · 11/04/2018 19:41

You can't reason with batshit. Just continue to ignore her.
Have a few mystery phone calls/toilets trips/etc as suggested by a PP ready for if she tries to pin you down alone tomorrow.
Good luck

Eggzandbacon · 11/04/2018 19:43

Tomorrow!!! I’m going to wear my best frock and eat party rings and wait with anticipation....

BewareOfDragons · 11/04/2018 19:45

"Oddly, that doesn't sound like an apology. Please try again."

Dear god. The woman is bonkers and then some!

MiddleClassProblem · 11/04/2018 19:45

Perfectly calm. Not sure there’s anything to sort.

TheMShip · 11/04/2018 19:46

"New phone, who dis?" Grin

CatsCatsCats11 · 11/04/2018 19:46

Ignore her, she's still a twat

milliegeobotandyou · 11/04/2018 19:47

Haha is this real? I wouldn't take this as a loss, what a cheeky fucker.

How basic do you have to be not to understand that you paid for the meal (very generously on that one imo) and the entries etc because it was for a birthday party!

I wonder if she's actually told the true story to the other friends, if so they'll think she's as nuts as you do so don't worry.

milliegeobotandyou · 11/04/2018 19:48

Sorry posted on the wrong thread.
