How many children’s have you got?

Just wondering about this!

How many children have you got?
How many children do you want? Or did you want?
Do you ever get broody?
What age are you?

There’ll be no more babies for me but I do get a little broody from time to time!🙁

I’ll start,
I’ve 2 children
Wanted 3
Get broody but less so as they grow up, age 3/5
I’m 38

I've got 4 I wanted 1 or maybe 2. I'm definitely done and will not have any more.
No getting broody but my youngest is 9 months which imo is smack bang in the middle of baby hell age.
I'm 28.

  1. I think I'd be well shocked if I got pregnant again considering I'm 49 and post menopausal.

I’ve 2 DC.

I’m 32.

I think in an ideal world we’d have had a third one day, but I had complications in each pregnancy (pre-eclampsia and a PPH with the first, then a placenta that wouldn’t come out and another big bleed with the second). Plus DS, while I love him beyond measure, was a baby who slept so poorly I doubted my own sanity at times and I’m not putting myself through that again Grin

Financially it makes sense for us to stop at two as well.

Originally wanted 7, then had ds1 and changed to 3!
Don't want any more but miss the baby years sometimes. Could do with a time machine so I could go back and sniff their tiny heads occasionally.

Honestly said I was ok with having none! I'm now 41 and have 3 amazing beautiful kiddos! 18, 14 & 12. Had an ectopic 4 years ago, wasn't meant to be Smile

Wanted three, got three. All grown up now so I'm done. Just as well really as I'm 50 something. As for do I ever get broody - no!

I am 26, DH is 29.

I love other peoples babies. I am not an overly maternal person, we have no desire to have anymore children.

I have 4. Two boys, two girls, aged 38 to 28. No. 4 was a bit of a surprise. I found it quite hard when she came along, as I was all done in my mind with nappies and sleepless nights.

But they are all wonderful and I adore them. I don’t regret a moment of it.

Have 2 children
8 yo DD and 18 month DS.

Never thought I'd have any let alone 2! Big surprise on Both!

I'm 28, I get broody now & again, never had this after my first.

Happy with my Two. Grin

I have three. All girls. Ages 22, 19 and 15 now.

I always thought I might have three, and that was indeed what happened. We never wanted any more. I am 51 now, so my childbearing years are definitely behind me.

I have 2. I used to want 3 but that was before I actually knew what having children was like.

I’m 33 and absolutely done now. I’d be devastated if I got pregnant again.

Wasn’t sure I wanted any for a long time, then had one and wanted another Smile
We now have two (4 & nearly 2) and are 99% sure we’re done. I do get broody sometimes and we talk about having another, but I know deep down two is the right number for us. We’re in our late 30s and are very very tired.

I have 2 sons (4 and 1) and a DSS age 8 which we have 50/50 with his dm. I'm 28 originally wanted 3 but will stick with 2! In my eyes i have 3 already. Forever broody though Grin

I always said I would have 2 or 4. NEVER 3.

I've got 3 and now know it's perfect for us. Not having any more (although I would never say never again)

I'm 35.

  1. 4 sons aged 20, 18, 17 & 14 from my first marriage and another son aged 1 with my DH. I also have 2 DSD's aged 13 & 11.
