How many children’s have you got?

Just wondering about this!

How many children have you got?
How many children do you want? Or did you want?
Do you ever get broody?
What age are you?

There’ll be no more babies for me but I do get a little broody from time to time!🙁

I’ll start,
I’ve 2 children
Wanted 3
Get broody but less so as they grow up, age 3/5

I have 1, I always wanted 2. I'm 43 so too late now for a second (first is 12yo). I'm incredibly sad that I never had another, although so grateful for the one I do have. Broody all the time.

I'm 27 and have a 9 year-old DD.

Would love another before I'm 35 hopefully.

Don't know how many I wanted I never really had chance to think about it as got pregnant at 17 with a non sleeper and the years of no sleep kind of put me off for life.
I'm 29

I am 40 and have a 10 year old. I never wanted just one, I think I probably had 2 or 3 in mind but had relationship problems after having DS, then ExP buggered off when DS was 4 so that was that!
I am with a lovely (childless) man now so could potentially have more but we both feel like we missed the boat with that. The thought of going back to having a tiny baby when I have got used to having a child who can go to the toilet by himself and make me a cup of tea is slightly terrifying! Grin

I like my life as it is and I enjoy the benefits of just having one child (particularly since being a lone parent) but I'll always been a bit sad that I only got to do it all once.

I am bloody lucky though - tried to get pregnant once, got pregnant within 3 months, had a healthy pregnancy, a relatively good birth and have ended up with the best child you could possibly hope for.

Have 1, wanted 2 but a high risk pregnancy and awful labour put me off any more. I'm 49 Smile

I’ve got 1 DD who is 5

I originally didn’t want children, then overnight I changed my mind, had my implant taken out and boom 2 weeks later I was with child!

I don’t get broody, ever!

At one point I did want another child so DD had company and would have someone to share decisions with when me and DH are older. But I thought the age gap would be too big, I’d have loved 2 girls close in age.

I have 2, one of each aged 10 &5. I wanted one of each and at a push maybe 3. I’m only 29 so still have a few years yet 😂

Wanted 3, had 3, third a surprise, can't have anymore after the third birth. Had youngest at age 33.

I have 3. I never thought too much about what my ‘perfect family’ would like, but now I have 3, it feels like the right fit for our family. I do occasionally get broody but at almost 39 and having just become a full-time student, I know that practically and financially it’s the right number for us.

Have 2 Dd's , just turned 9 and almost 6 ,they are amazing.I wanted 4 orginally but would love one more .DH is adamant that that's it for us due to HG . Im so broody😔

Have 2. Wanted 3. DH funny about numbers and it had to be even, so either 2 or 4. 2 its is then!! There's part of my that would have liked a big messy family. 2 seems a bit neat sometimes. But I had DD at 38 with only 20 month gap and was shattered for a LONG time. And financially we decided to have a better life with 2 than stretch ourselves too thin. Am def done now I'm 44.

Im 32 and have 4: 9, 5, 3 and 9 months. I'd just keep going to be honest but pregnancy has broken my pelvis and hips so physically I can't. I don't think I'll ever stop being broody! We plan to adopt when youngest is 5.

I’m 30 and have a boy (2) and a girl (1).

Would like a third but when DCs have started school, could not do such a close age gap again.

Have one DD. Always wanted DD. Occasionally feel broody but life with 1 child is so easy I wouldn’t go again for all the tea in China.

I have one DD and a DSD. I'm currently pregnant with my second. I always wanted 3 children. There's a big age gap between my DD and this one with a lot of broodiness in between. I'm 26 so hopefully I have time for another one should I still want to.

I wanted (and still want) 3 DC (DH says no to 3!)
I get broody! ... a lot
