How many children’s have you got?

Just wondering about this!

How many children have you got?
How many children do you want? Or did you want?
Do you ever get broody?
What age are you?

There’ll be no more babies for me but I do get a little broody from time to time!🙁

I’ll start,
I’ve 2 children
Wanted 3
Get broody but less so as they grow up, age 3/5
I’m 38

Have 3 aged 10, 8 & 4 weeks.

Two children - aged 16 months and 2.9 years.
Didn't want any until I hit 40 and suddenly freaked out that the menopause would arrive and take the option away from me.
Now thinking I would like another which would bring us to three.
Often get broody, sometimes ridiculously broody. I surprised myself and throughly enjoyed being pregnant and love the two I have to bits.
I'm 44.

Have 1, aged 6. Would have loved 2 but it didn't happen, I'm almost 40 and recently separated so it's not on the cards anymore. I get broody all the time, usually feel I'm resigned to no more, and DS is so lovely I'm lucky to have him, but some days (today) it makes me really sad. Then guilty, because I know I'm lucky to have one.

Never get broody in the slightest which is as well because
I am nearly 45.

I have 2 children (4 and 6 - 17m apart)
I'm pregnant with our 3rd now (due in April)

I wanted 2 children - 2 girls
I have ended up with - boy, girl, boy

I get SO broody, which is how we ended up agreeing to have another!

I'm 24, nearly 25.
(DH is 27 and only wanted 1 child!)

Also I had the first 2 quite close together, then a big gap, then another 2 again close together which made it easier

Have 2, a 1yo & 3yo (2.5 yrs gap). Aiming to try again later this year & Im mid 30s. That will be it as I have awful pregnancies. If I was going to stick at 2 I would of had a smaller age gap but I spaced them apart a bit as 3 under 3 would send me over the edge!

I have two.

I originally thought I'd have three, but felt "done" the minute DD arrived.

I have very fleeting moments of broodiness but nothing substantial.

I'm 34.

Always wanted 2 children

Yes permanent broodiness and aching sadness and grief for the pregnancies that we lost, and the children we so desperately wanted but will never have, because my womb is too damaged to sustain a pregnancy

I have two children - 8 months and 4 years. We couldn't afford anymore and I think the world is populated enough. Stopping at two. Happy about decision.

Wanted 2.

Had DC1 at 35 then secondary infertility struck interspersed with multiple miscarriages and fertility treatment. DC2 came along when I was 40. Completely out of the blue.

Often think I would have liked 3 if I'd started earlier but I'm done. Couldn't face anymore miscarriages.

I watch that 20 kids and counting with a morbid fascination,sort of like I would to be surrounded by that many children...but as a child would of hated the lack of personal space...I'm always wanting one more,but I would never have more children than I have bedrooms for...at the minute we gave a spare bedroom. Dc1 has left home...😜
