How many children’s have you got?

Just wondering about this!

How many children have you got?
How many children do you want? Or did you want?
Do you ever get broody?
What age are you?

There’ll be no more babies for me but I do get a little broody from time to time!🙁

I’ll start,
I’ve 2 children
Wanted 3
Get broody but less so as they grow up, age 3/5
I’m 38

I have 1 DD aged 2.8
I would love another but DH says no, I always wanted 2
I am constantly broody
I'm 25 so suppose theres time yet

  1. That is all I wanted good to make more use of all the clothes I've been given for them. I'm 40 and cuddling my 8mo to sleep.Smile

I am 32 and I have one DS and another due in June. I'm not sure if I will want more than two, we'll see how this next one goes first Grin

I have 3 boys 22,17 and a 4yr old. Was frightened at first with the latest addition but honestly he's changed our lives for the better. The older boys adore him and he's brought a new happiness in our lives. Wouldn't change it for the world.

I'm 33 and have 2. I've always said I wanted 3 (apart from in the first 3 months after DC2 was born!) but DH is adamant that he only wants 2. He hates the baby years and says he just couldn't cope with another child. Financially and practically 2 makes more sense too. But DS has just started walking and seems to grow up more every day and it makes me sad that I'll not have another baby...

We have 3. DH and I are 40. I knew I hadn’t “finished” when the second one was born. It just felt like there was someone missing.

I always knew I wanted a child / children but I surprised myself in having three. If I was 5 years younger and we had a bit more money I’d be very tempted to have another one. I was lucky to have 3 easy pregnancies and births. I still get very broody and tempted to have a little slip up Wink

Ive always wanted four. DH thinks people who have more than two are weird (he’s from a ridiculously straight laced family)

We have three as a compromise. They are all the same sex and I’m often asked if I’m going to keep trying for the other, but I’m sure we are done.

Two children aged 12 and 7.

I don't get broody, don't feel as though I need/want more and am unable to have more (so I think I've shut that part of me down and just got on with it rather than dwell on not being able to have more).

We've got 2, just turned 2 and 6 months. We want 3 and will hopefully have another in a couple of years or so? I'm 34 so we have a bit a time yet, but I am aware of the old clock ticking.

I do feel broody though, I feel surrounded by new babies and pregnancies, a couple of my friends have just had babies and a few are currently pregnant. I have to keep reminding myself that 2 under 2 was hard enough, 3 under 3 would just be insane.

Have 2, wanted 3.
Had a complicated miscarriage in my 40s that made further children impossible. Now post-menopausal so the question is immaterial. Still get broody though. Will have to make do with puppies!

I have 3, wanted 4 but after several miscarriages had to accept number 4 wasn't going to happen. I'm 49 now and my youngest is age 9.

I’ve got two, always thought I’d have a big family But I had health issues that put a stop to it.
I’m almost 37 and health conditions are now under control would love to go for another but Dh can’t face going back to the baby years. My children are 18 & 15.
Always broody, intensely so. Hoping it will stop once I hit menopause.

Wont be doing the baby thing now. I'm 33 and wanted to have them all in my 20s. By the time I meet someone new and get to that point I'll be almost 40 so... I am off to be sterilised to take care of that for good.
